Not what I would expect from a Marriott property, especially the look of the first floor hallway and the noise from the restaurant can be heard very clearly in the last room down the hallway.

There was no parking, not even space to unload and load luggage. Parking in the neighboring lot was very expensive. The internet did not work properly. There was no room in the bathroom to even stand comfortably. The sink is a joke. Really, how can one use such a sink. When you open the tiny sink the water splashes all over and I had to cover the floor with tiles to keep the floor dry. Who would design such a crappy sink. There was no storage area, like dresser etc. in the room. Hardly any space to keep my luggage. And there was no electric kettle or coffee. This is worse than minimalist. I paid almost $400 for the first night for such a crappy room.

Only thing I didn’t like was a little sink but also I understand its very small bathroom, and that doesn’t apply to all the rooms!

There were several issues that made the stay disappointing. The stench of humidity and poorly cleaned carpets was overwhelming—I even refused to use the elevator because of it. The décor felt outdated and not very clean (dusty/sticky lamps, worn furniture). The A/C vents were extremely loud, and the bathroom setup was poorly designed: a tiny sink paired with an unnecessarily large faucet caused water to overflow every time it was used, soaking the blow dryer stored underneath.
Other inconveniences included a spacious walk-in closet with no light, very few hangers, and no luggage holder—something simple that would have improved the experience. Communication from staff was also poor. For example, we later learned we were entitled to complimentary beach chairs, but this wasn’t explained at check-in. We nearly paid $40+ unnecessarily, and only avoided it by mentioning we were hotel guests at the beach.
This hotel clearly has potential because of its prime location, but the lack of cleanliness, outdated furnishings, poor design choices, and weak communication from staff really held it back.

The only negative would be the really small bathroom sink. You couldn’t do anything with it.

The restaurant staff were rude when we asked if we could be seated for some food
