Pros:

Beautiful hotel. The staff is the best part. The barefoot concept is great. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the one. The ocean is not very accessible as it is mainly coral so keep that in mind when booking- you will most likely be 99% in the pool not the ocean.

Perfect Stay at Sensation Resort

Our February 2025 stay at Sensation Resort Hotel in Zanzibar was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a truly memorable 6-day stay.

The service was always friendly —staff members went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether it was the attentive housekeeping, the friendly reception team, or the restaurant staff who always served with a smile, we felt truly valued as guests.

Every meal was a delightful culinary experience, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients and a mix of local and international flavors; the variety and presentation were top-notch.

Our bungalow was a perfect retreat—modern, spacious, and designed for ultimate comfort. The interiors were stylish. Enjoying the peaceful beach added to the overall charm of the resort.

Beyond the accommodations and dining, the overall atmosphere of Sensation Resort Hotel was serene and relaxing. The well-maintained grounds, lovely pool were fantastic. Most guests are European and it seems the hotel manager knows how to deliver for this clientele.

Bring cash before you arrive here as there is no ATM at the resort and you will need some cash for tips!

We highly recommend Sensation Resort Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in Zanzibar. We will definitely return!

Så otillgängligt så det var svårt att förstå om någon resort skulle finnas . Väl framme öppnar sig en underbar resort som man blir kvar på tills det är dags att lämna . Stora möjlighet till långa beach promenader . Vänligt mottagande i receptionen under halmtak och lite bubbel var välkommet . Fråntagen skor är man barfota under hela vistelsen i den kritvita sköna sanden . Vacker långsmal pool med dynförsedda vilstolar och parasoller , all inclusive gäller med frukost lunch och middag. Lunchen bäst tyckte vi då middagen flera gånger var lite under medel . Vänlig personal och som alltid på Zanzibar lite långsam och glömsk . Oftast charmigt men ibland irriterande. Bra massage i vacker miljö . Villor med pool att föredra då de utan kändes lite små . Italienskt ägande och indisk manager . Tanzanisk personal i övrigt oftast från fastlandet. Bra plats ,att rekommendera.
