En general muy bien
Pros:

la ubicación excelente, la habitación muy bonita y confortable y la limpieza perfecta. HOtel muy familiar y sobre todo mucha tranquilidad, mucho silencio.

Cons:

que el aire acondicionado de la habitación se apagaba constantemente y pasamos calor por la noche pero supongo que es algo puntual que se puede reprogramar o reajustar

Pros:

Very nice family-owned boutique hotel with excellent staff, modern design with the most amazing sea view, delicious dinner at the restaurant (bravo to the chef!) and à la carte breakfast, cocktails were well made too, motivating gym facility next to an indoor pool, easy to visit the blue grotto with a traditional maltese boat. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Internal room means no window, for a night it was fine.

Don't book this hotel was given a room with no windows and no refresh air in 38 degrees weather!

Apparently booked a internal room which I didn't notice on the booking and I honestly did not know what it meant! (Just to clarify been travelling all my life over 20 years and have never come across this type of booking)
When I got to hotel I was told the room does not have a window or any sort of outside view.
Obviously was not happy about this considering I paid over £1000 euros for 1 week.
I asked if I was the only person to complain about this and she admitted other guests had similar issues when they were told about the room.
I was then offered a different room which apparently was the only one available but had to pay a further 700 euros as it was an grade. I had a look and didn't feel the room was worth a further 700 just because it had a outside view and larger bathroom.
I asked for a refund and was told it was not possible.
Unfortunately I had to stay in a room that felt like an enclosed box due to no fresh air or natural light.
During breakfast I asked the staff if the hotel was fully booked and he said no the occupancy was around 50%
Hearing this I was upset that I was not offered a similar size room to what I had with a window instead and not trying to rip me off by offering a ridiculous upgrade instead.
There was no reception person available, was given a number to call if there was an issue. I called both numbers but no one ever answered them.
The Spa was not really a spa, the lights were off in the gym, the sauna was not on and could not find a member of staff to help either.
I don't feel this is a boutique hotel as advertised as the hotel is extremely short staffed and you only saw people at breakfast time or if you went there for lunch or dinner in the restaurant.
This place is not properly run as a hotel, I think they are more interested in running the restaurant than running a boutique hotel.
All I want to say to booking.

Cons:

La stanza era interna e non aveva finestre. Probabilmente c'era scritto al momento della prenotazione ma non l'ho letto e non me lo aspettavo.

Personal muy amable y con buena atención. Limpio y buen restaurante con productos frescos

Cons:

La habitación cara para la ubicación . En nuestro caso la habitación que contratamos con jacuzzi daba a la parte de atrás. Tenía gran terraza y jacuzzi pero al estar en ladera estábamos a la vista de todos los residentes y faltaba intimidad.

Perfecte locatie, klein hotelletje en fijn personeel
Pros:

De locatie van het hotel is erg ideaal. Het is er niet druk en in de buurt zijn er enorm veel restaurants. Het personeel van het hotel is vriendelijk. Mary is erg behulpzaam en ze vroeg ons meerdere keren of alles naar wens was. Ook Julienne is een hele vriendelijke dame die ons uitlegde wat we kunnen doen in Malta en die snel in actie schoot toen we een probleem meldden. Ook het personeel bij het ontbijt is vriendelijk. Bij het ontbijt is er een klein buffet en daarnaast ook een menu met keuzes van omeletten en eieren. Het hotel is proper en het schoonmaakpersoneel doet wat er van hen gevraagd wordt en komen niet aan onze spullen. Ook het zwembad is gezellig. Het hotel is helemaal niet druk en dat vond ik enorm fijn, om tijdens het hoogseizoen weg te blijven van de vele toeristen. Bedankt voor de goede service.

Cons:

Toen we de eerste dag aankwamen, waren we verbaasd dat er niemand aan de receptie was. We hadden gewacht tot er werkelijk niemand kwam, waardoor we via Whatsapp een seintje moesten geven dat we aangekomen waren. Hoe we onthaald werden vond ik niet erg professioneel. De jongeman was erg verstrooid. Wat we niet fijn vonden en best daardoor in schok waren, is dat de eerste kamer die we kregen letterlijk aan de receptie lag. Je hoort op een zeer storende manier de andere gasten in de kamer naast jou. We hebben dit probleem aangekaart bij Julienne, en meteen werden we overgezet naar een andere kamer. Ook andere minpunten zijn het feit dat we om pantoffels vroegen omdat er geen waren in de kamer, dan kregen we gebruikte (!) pantoffels.. In de badkamer was er ook geen zeep. Daarnaast vroegen we aan hen om onze kamer te decoreren op een romantische manier, maar de decoratie was erg simpel en niet leuk. De eerste avond toen we aankwamen en iets wilden eten in Aalto, was er een niet zo vriendelijke medewerker die op een botte manier zei dat de tafel waaraan we zaten gereserveerd was. Als je aan die jongeman iets vroeg, was het precies een grote last voor hem.. Ik vind het hotel ook wat duur voor wat je aangeboden krijgt. Al met al ben ik wel tevreden en zou ik een 6,5 of 7 op 10 geven.
