How close it was to everything
There was a bad smell once we got out onto the floor of our apartment
The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. We requested a sea-view room with a balcony, and the view was absolutely wonderful, it was worth everything. The location was very central, with everything within walking distance and the ferry terminal only a few minutes away. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, with plenty of options to choose from. Coffee and tea were also replenished in the room whenever we ran out. The staff were friendly, and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out.
During the last few days of our stay, we were no longer provided with small towels after housekeeping, only one large towel per person, which was quite inconvenient, especially when washing our hair. There was also a constant clicking noise coming from what seemed to be a motion sensor in the bathroom, and the lighting there was quite dim. In the bedroom, the wall was crumbling, and pieces of plaster were falling onto the desk.

Location was excellent, stunning views and lots of restaurant options really close by. It is also really handy for the ferries and small boats to Valletta and Gozo, or buses around the island.
Room was clean, spacious and the balcony with sea view was the highlight of our holiday.
