Very good location for our needs. We were able to walk to everything we needed. The room was simple, and the staff was accommodating.

The hotel was in walking to the historic area . Many places close to eat or drink. Stuff was friendly. Free continental breakfast

Posizione comoda a tutto. Camera piccola ma comoda. Senza vista ma silenziosa. Comodo terrazzo in comune a pochi passi dalla camera. Hotel moderno con standard europei. Ottimo wi-fi. Colazione contenuta ma buona. Servizio molto gentile, con Emna alla reception capace di risolvere qualsiasi richiesta. Giustamente preoccupata se gli si comunica di voler usare i mezzi pubblici per gli spostamenti, anche se noi gli abbiamo usati per sentirci tunisini. Vivamente sconsigliato il treno per Hammamet se pur veloce, molto meglio i louages comodi e simpatici.

Well situated in Tunis. Good value for money.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Suisse! The staff especially were so lovely and helpful and the location was very convenient. I would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Hotel Suisse was great - a perfect location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and La Medina/Souks. Emna, one of the receptionists was exceptionally welcoming to us.

Breakfast was fine - generally a hard boiled egg, tangerine, crepe with nutella or an omlet, and a basket of bread. Mint tea (or coffee for my friend).

Bring toilet paper. They provide a small amount and there is some sort of hose next to the toilet, but how you would dry yourself is beyond me.

They provide a hair dryer. No airport shuttle, but they will call a taxi for you.
From the airport, we were overcharged - 20 Euros which is more than $20! But on the way to the airport just over 20 TND (which equates to $6.66

Our Tunisian friend escorted us for 2 full days, so we were able to see Sidi Bou Said, La Goulette, Carthage, and the Bardo, among other things. I don't recommend driving in Tunis. The city streets are busy with others pulling out in front of those who have the right of way. The 3 lane highway was 5 lanes of cars and motorcycles weaving in between. There were feral cats everywhere.

The people were so kind everywhere we went. They speak Arabic and French. Almost no English.

We fell in love with Tunis and maybe someday we will return.

It was difficult to find a restaurant open after 7pm in the area. Mostly just fast food places.
The outside adjacent building was a bit noisy at night.

Clean room and areas.

Located in a kind of rough area but didn't feel unsafe. Definitely not 4 star but it felt clean and well appointed. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Hotel nuevo situado en pleno centro y muy cerca de la estación de tren. Personal muy atento. Desayuno servido en mesa y con cierta variación cada día. Habitación individual pequeña, pero nueva y limpia. Colchón de la cama bastante duro y almohada alta. Ruído del ascensor, pero no de la calle.

This is a small hotel at the center of Tunis. Walking distance everywhere, near station, near old town, supermarket behind the corner and many cafes/restaurants too. The street is a small alley and it's really quiet. No noise at all to the rooms. My room was also very tidy, staff friendly and outdoor terrace was also nice (even weather wasn't really suitable to enjoy it at December). Internet worked well. Also appreciated a kettle in the room. I can recommend this hotel.

Dette er et av de bedre hotellene jeg har bodd på i Tunis. Hotellet holder en høy standard. Alle rom fremstår som moderne. Betjeningen var meget vennlige og hjelpsomme. Frokosten var god og de serverte ferskpresset appelsinjuice og veldig god kaffe. Måltidet var ikke stort, men man fikk mer på forespørsel.

Good hotel for Tunis, not far from the markets or louage station. The staff where also friendly and happy to help and give recommendations.
