Had to Pay Twice.
Pros:

I made the reservation for Miramar Suites and paid for it on 12/17/2024. When I arrived at Miramar Suites on 2/11 for my stay, the had no record of a reservation from Hotels.com, and had not been paid for the stay. Therefore in order to stay at Miramar, I had to pay for the stay again!.
To date the master has not been resolved. So I ended having to pay twice, and have not gotten a refund from Hotels.com.

I did not stay at Miramar Suites. It was not POSSIBLE to stay at Miramar Suites. My cab driver drove me to the address listed by Miramar Suites. When we arrived, there was no hotel, or restaurant, or anything, just a closed storefront in shambles and nothing else. I paid over $78 through Expedia.com who then confirmed my reservation for a property that DOES NOT EXIST! Owners of nearby establishments say it has been closed for a long time. Apparently though, Miramar will still take your money with the help of Expedia.com for a reservation that cannot be used. Thank you Expedia, for a hellish evening trying to find a hotel in a scramble so I didn't have to stay on the streets of Roatan. I will be thinking twice before booking a hotel again using your service.

Los cambios son buenos siempre y cuando sean para mejoras. Traje a la familia de nuevo porque hace 9 meses nos habíamos hospedado aquí y el Sr. Capi nos atendió de LUJO! De haber sabido que Capi ya no estaba no volvemos. Este hotel tiene un antes y un después de que Capi se fue.
Si nos atendieron ‘bien’ pero hay espacio para mejorar.
Todos NO pueden empezar a trabajar a la misma hora. Si el cliente baja tiene que haber alguien en la recepción. El cliente no debe esperar por un servicio ya pagado. Tienen que coordinarse mejor.
Si ya una persona no trabaja ahi sean honesto y digan ‘oh no se’ no tienen que mentir ni dar explicaciones. Uno es prudente y sabe entender… por eso dice el dicho “ah buen entendedor, pocas palabras”

En la habitación el televisor nunca trabajo, el internet estaba laggy, no enfriaba suficiente el aire especialmente para 5 personas.
Ese perro que tiene la propiedad aledaña omg que stress… y un domingo se levantan a poner musica. No es culpa del hotel y vale más que uno no iba a descansar porque sino hubiera sido un fracaso.

No les vamos a quitar el mérito porque cabe resaltar que la habitación estaba limpia, se siente seguridad de dejar maletas y uno mismo se sintio seguro.

La nueva administración tienen trabajo que hacer porque se han quedado cortos..

Stay away!!! No staff around, Unhealthy rooms. No sheets, No AC, No TV. When the guy at the front checked me in he took me to the room then just left and disappeared and didnt even give me a key. I could not leave and lock the room and could not find anyone around to help or do anything. I felt completely unsafe thought i would get bed bugs. Had to leave the first night and go somewhere else after paying for 2 nights. No refund or even anyone to talk to and tell how bad it was. I understand staying somewhere less expensive but when it doesnt even come close to the description then people need to know.
