Location good as near beach
We booked this hotel through booking.com for 1 night away, we purposely booked an apartment that stated it had a bathroom with bath and shower, television, internet and an extra large bed.
However on entering the apartment and the bathroom it became very clear there was no bath!
But I could have lived with that, however the TV wouldn't display any channels, I called customer service who explained that there are no local TV channels and all programmes are through apps such as Netflix/I players. Luckily we have these accounts so tried again but the apps wouldn't load, the TV wouldn't connect to the internet so we tried to connect our phones but still wouldn't connect.
Rang the hotel again who said there was an internet outage in the area with no time frame on how long.
I rang the hotel again as after double checking my booking I felt we had not been given the right room and the bed was a small double, they said we were booked into the right room.
I questioned the facilities and they said I would need to take it up with booking.com. I called them and explained, they advised would call me back. We went for something to eat thinking the faults would be sorted when we got back.
These were not sorted!
We just couldn't stay in a small room without the facilities we were expecting ie no TV/internet.
Cleaners very helpful and friendly...room spotless...free carparking ..100% be visiting again
Cleaning staff had no idea we were arriving....soon as we let them know,they straight away made us comfortable and assured us room would be spotless(which it was).not being able to contact host at all as they dont check booking messages...
Clean and quiet and very close to the beach , had everything we needed with secure of street parking

Clean , warm and quiet. Good location and free parking if not to busy.
Room was more for single. 1 chair to sit and no table to have coffee or tea .

Lack of bedding. The wifi and tv where off the whole weekend we stayed we were told the problem was with the internet provider whoever when the cleaner arrived a as we checked out she simply reset the WiFi and when we tried to leave the car park us and two other guests were blocked in by another guest car and where delayed by three hours as no one at the hotel new what to do or how to get in touch with guest to move the vehicle very unhappy
Location.
No broadband the whole time we were there so unable to do certain work or financial work. Several repairs needed doing. Only one VERY worn and thin pillow each, Told the broadband was only down temporally when actually down the whole visit! Spoke to other people who were staying there and they confirmed that there broadband connection was also down there whole visit. Was told that the repairs were scheduled to be done but we paid for services which should have been done BEFORE our visit, not promised for after!

Brilliant apartment, really lovely room, comfortable bed, great location literally opposite the beach and promenade, road at the back full or bars and restaurants will be back later in the year.

Decor is nice in the apartment
No internet all weekend. Property claimed the ISP was down but I couldn't see any record of this online. Even if it was, the communication with the property was poor. They kept promising to send someone on site to reboot the system. They didn't come back to me when they should have and avoided my question about a refund. I really needed to do some work whilst i was staying and told them I would need to check into another hotel if it continued. I asked for updates but that was limited. I tried not to combard them with messages but they weren't forthcoming.
Additionally, the curtains are flimsy and there is a street light literally 2 metres form the window. The window lock was broken so didn't close properly meaning I could hear all the noice form outside until 4am and then the seagulls starting at 5.30am. Pillows are very flat. Other reviews have commented on them but they haven't been changed. Don't expect anyone on site if there is a problem. The many codes to access the doors, car park and your room is quite frustrating too.

Shame you live over road from the local idiot
Basic but clean. Had everything I needed with close proximity to the shops, the station and the beach. Had just about all I needed. I appreciated the smart tv.
Bit cold, even with the heating on. But its February on the coast so cant be helped.
I did not like the toothpaste spit on the walls and mirror in the bathroom. Perhaps tile the area instead of paint so its easy to clean.

The loft was freezing and wind kept blowing through, needs sealing correctly. The sea view was poor id of rather booked the rooms below at a cheaper rate

Nothing to dislike, a lovely experience allround. We will be booking again.
