My husband and I booked to have lunch today at the Pandora Hotel. We were slightly apprehensive as we had never been to the hotel before. We were not at all disappointed!! Friendly welcome, attentive staff and delicious Christmas lunch. Presentation of each course was second to none .. unfortunately I forgot to take photos!! We will definitely have to repeat this treat. Perhaps in 2026 when the restaurant has been refurbished. New plans look exciting!
We have just returned from this lovely hotel - it's definitely on its way up from 3 stars! Our room was clean, bright with a sea view and glorious sunrises. The staff were friendly, helpful and always happy to go the extra mile. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, high quality bacon and sausages and presented well - hot and fresh. We ate in the bar a couple of evenings and the meals again were good quality especially the chicken curry. The lounge areas were so comfy - particularly those glorious blue sofas!
Many thanks to Dev who sorted out extra nights for us and Levi and Carlos who served us so well - we will be back!
Although rated a 3 star hotel, for us it was a very good 4 star. We stayed in room 7 for 4 nights which is downstairs and recently been refurbished. The room has staff walking past the windows, so does need some blinds or something for privacy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Tea, coffee provided.
The Pandora is on a hill but only about a five minute walk, we found it fine. The garden is lovely, plenty of seats in lounge to have a drink from the bar prices weren't too high.
Lovely breakfast which had a great choice including full English, cereals, toast, smoked salmon and avocado.
We ate in the Restaurant on 3 nights, the food was beautifully presented with 5 star service from Fabio, Carlos and the team.
St Peter's Port is a lovely place to stay well served by a great reasonable bus service. Castle Cornet was a great place to visit for a few hours. We also walked to the war museum which was interesting to see.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a lovely stay.
Has a nice short stay. Nice hotel in good location for town and bus terminus with great staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice grilled breakfast and choice of fruits, cereals and fruits. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again
I have just returned from a 3 night stay at The Pandora Hotel and would not recommend it. The room was very small, particularly compared to the rooms of my fellow travellers who paid the same per night. The lead for the kettle would not reach the plug so could only be used on the floor. The en suite had a strange smell, with the shower changing from hot to cold of its own accord. The bed was hard and lumpy. But worse than that was the attitude of the reception staff / manager who couldn’t care less that they had an unhappy guest. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Brilliant in every way possible which includes room, food, location very friendly and helpful staff. There's not much more I can say.
This hotel is fantastic. staff are very helpful, efficient and polite.
Bar and restaurant food is delicious and price is about what you would expect for guernsey.
Rooms are a bit small but clean and well maintained.
The big (and I mean BIG) selling point here is the garden. Its beautiful and goes for miles with stunning sea views and patioed areas with restaurant and bar access.
On a quiet street but up a bit of a hill or down a hill depending on how you look at things lol.
would definitely stay again but staff said to contact them directly for better rate than bookng.com
Lovely hotel, really helpful, kind staff members, willing to go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. Limited parking, but in October we managed to park every night. Fabulous choice of breakfast. Evening meals available, but needed to book a table. Good food in evening. Very hilly, so without a car it would not be very convenient for people with limited ability. Hotel provides a bus service to St Peters Port early morning and return in the evening, however, we did not use this service so cannot vouch for it.
The Pandora far exceeded our expectations. All the staff were professional & helpful. The hotel have not only got comfortable & inviting bar area & lounges, the gardens/terraces are stunning!
The meal options are good & excellent quality. We were happy with our single rooms which were clean & serviced daily to a high standard. We look forward to visiting again!
The Pandora Hotel is fantastic. The room, and especially the bathroom, were immaculate.
All the staff were very polite, professional and always helpful and the food served there is top notch.
My friend and I will definitely be returning.
Lovely stay here at Pandora Hotel. The staff and on-premises restaurant are outstanding. The check-in was quick and friendly, and the waitstaff and cleaning crew were terrific. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and friendly experience. Thank you for making my time here on Guernsey so enjoyable.
Superb breakfast beautifully presented with wide choice. Staff professional yet friendly. Lovely grounds. Excellent communal areas inside and out. Great evening dining.
All good, nice staff and good breakfast. Room a little dated but good suze and clean. No issues
Nice room with comfy bed and good bathroom.
Good food, breakfast and evening.
Lovely gardens.
Friendly staff whoo looked after out large family group.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were big, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, healthy options too! Loved the hotel, quirky but renovated and so convenienr for the harbour. It is on a hill but we didn't mind that.
Great location, although it is uphill from the main road and water front area. My daughter and I shared an ocean view room--we could definitely see the ocean, but it's not close. The staff at the Pandora are so friendly and helpful. We felt immediately at home. Laundry services were reasonably priced and quick turnaround. The breakfast (included with our reservation) was great! The bar and lounge area are comfortable--perfect place to hang out in the evening. Lots of excellent dining options in the area too.
This is a good 3-star hotel with some old fashioned charm; it has a great location - just 10 mins walk down to the centre, good staff and is lovely and clean. Breakfast was good. There are a few parking spaces right outside. We stayed for three nights in room 304, which is a top floor room with a bay window, one side of which faced the sea. There's a tiny ensuite. We had a lovely stay overall, but there were a few small negatives - the mattress definitely needs replacing, the double glazing has gone cloudy, making it difficult to enjoy the view, and the shower pressure was so low it was just a trickle!
We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but we recommend The Boathouse, Christie's and particularly Sorrento.
Location ok uphill from harbour but can find various routes and steps to make it easier. All staff friendly and helpful but was surprised reception could not help with access to internet to book a flight to Jersey when our ferry was cancelled. Lovely gardens. The breakfast was the best I have ever experienced. Buffet for cereals, yoghurt and fruit salad which was fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked meals served at the table. Would stay there again if visiting Guernsey.
Central location, but at the top of a very steephill, plus no lift in hotel.Staff extremely helpful, and cheery.
We had an excellent sray at the pandora hotel. Our welcome was friendly and inforative. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The queen size bed was luxurious. The staff were all heloful and attentive. Breakfast, delicious. A nice choice of options. We had dinner there too on one night which was excellent. I would say it more than a 3 star. Great value. Would definitly choose this hotel agian. 10 / 10
