Complimentary hot water available during reception working hours. Extra blankets available. Clean and spacious room. Nice and helpful staff.
Very cold room (12 °C when we arrived). Normal heating not available, you can rent a small heater for 500 INR/night, which helps a bit in the room but not in the bathroom where the tiles, toilet seat etc. are still freezing cold. Power in electricity sockets went off few times. No toilet paper available even on request, had to buy some. The location shown on Booking.com map is wrong, check Google maps for the right location.
Route 55 is in a great location, situated close to the Train station and just a short walk to the Mall road. The staff at property were extremely friendly and welcoming during my stay in Darjeerling, which really makes you feel at home.

Extremely noisy, day and night. Not from outside, but from inside the hotel: from next door rooms to the reception desk. All hard surfaces and no noise insulation
Easily accessible place in Darjeeling. Staff were well friendly and well mannered. The staff did help us with a lot of our travel arrangements. Wifi was available.
Rooms facilities could have been better, like an electric kettle, tea bags etc. We did not get a room with any view.
