Pretty central
The showering taps off the bath being the mixer easy to scald yourself
Should always be on a thermostatic mixer whether that be off taps or thermostatic shower
Rooms very hot even with the window ajar
Great location, spa was a lovely addition
The room was very hot, even with a small fan It was uncomfortable. Quite dated.
Excellent just what we needed for an amazing mini break. Thank you
The staff and bar facilities were excellent.
However, the rooms were very dated and did not have air conditioning. It was ridiculously hot. I upgraded to business but I shouldn’t have bothered. In addition the bathroom door handle was hanging off.
Location ,and staff were very helpful and friendly
Breakfast was good room was good but no air conditioning and noisy fan.
Housekeeping could have been better forgot towels one day no shower gel another time and no toilet paper
Lovely large room with quality furniture and bathroom. Pool delightful. Evening meal first class and breakfast very well organised which is unusual for large hotels
Very good value will be first choice in Chester next time
Very hot night with no Aircon so the fan made it bearable. Could not leave the window open as our room overlooked a busy dual carriageway
Have stayed a number times good location staff always pleasant in walking distance to town centre
Location
Room was late getting clean, phone didn’t work in the room and the kettle was faulty
Good location , rooms were clean but very dated .spa facilities were nice
Rooms require an upgrade , very dated . Although location was great for town centre , extremely noisy and poor sleep, if your a light sleeper I wouldn’t reccomend.
Spa area very clean and had a great meal in the restaurant o
The Location and Spa
Unfortunately we have stayed many times over the years and this year the breakfast was not as good as.
The quality was poor and did not have as much choice as other years
It was a shame as people look forward to a nice breakfast on holiday.
Location of the hotel is good close to the centre, breakfast was excellent
Room was too stuffy , needs air con for hot summer months , the fan on all night gave me a sore throat
