Was pool worth premium price? Possibly not, but easy access to everything made it almost bearable.
Pros:

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Walking distance from the station & all over the centre. We enjoyed the pool. Fantastic way to cool down after hot train journey.

Cons:

The room was quite dated. No air conditioning, but they did provide a fan. Wouldn't normally be an issue but we arrived mid heat wave. Paid extra for separate beds for kids. Ended up sleeping in my bed as it wasnt very comfy.

Staff were helpful and the bar restaurant was very pleasant. I would stay again but with room with walk in shower and qu
Pros:

The location was good for walking to sights and town. The staff were all helpful. The spa pool was lovely.

Cons:

No need for double bed and single in room makes it very cramped. Bath over shower is no good for elderly guests, like me! Could do with aircon as very hot and stuffy and with windows open next to flyover and above the bar terrace very noisy. I had specifically requested a quiet room!
Breakfast could do with better cold choices and not canned peaches!

Excellent value, good location and good facilities hotel.
Pros:

Location was good. Secure parking. Room was quiet, breakfast was good. Leisure facilities looked good although we didn’t have time to use them. We felt it was excellent value for the price.

Cons:

Lumpy pillows and we hadn’t read the small print that said car park was £12 per 24 hours if you booked through booking.com

Pros:

Everything was lovely.

Cons:

Disappointed at the £12.00 parking fee for disabled parking the 6 disabled parking places all occupied with only one displaying a blue badge. To be told by the reception this morning they don't no who parks in them so was I the only one to pay.

Pros:

Location to Chester city and proximity to the railway station was excellent. We needed to store baggage prior to check in time and staff were very helpful. Heat wave during our stay and pool hotel pool provided some welcome relief. Room was hot but a small fan helped. Good buffet breakfast comprising continental and cooked. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at The Mill & Spa and would certainly stay again.

Cons:

Room and facilities were as advertised so no complaints or concerns
