Pros:

The staff were always so friendly and helpful. If they said they would do something they definitely always did. We were particularly impressed by the staff serving breakfast who were so helpful and kind. The food at breakfast offered a wide selection and was delicious. Everything was very clean and hygienic and we felt confident eating at the hotel in all areas. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It was a wonderful bonus to have a balcony with a sliding door we could open for lovely fresh air and a view of the garden. The gym was very very well equipped, had a good sauna and was excellent for us. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was also handy for the bus route for public transport which we used a lot. Also very handy to have a Waitrose just across the road for little things we needed from time to time. We also really appreciated the hotel putting fresh, chilled water in the fridge every day. Wardrobes a decent size. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Slept well here.

A guernsey favourite!
Pros:

Everything! Feels secluded, surrounded by beautiful gardens with a lake, but walking distance 30mins, to town. Comfortable room and beds. Good food and service.

Could have done with more toiletries
