Pros:

It's a traditional little guesthouse, and the owner is very nice. It's very clean. The neighborhood is very commercial, making it a great place to stroll around at night.The price for a single room is very reasonable.

Cons:

However, the pillows and blankets smelled of other guests.

Affordable option in a good location but with some room for improvement
Pros:

Good location on a quiet residential alley in the medina, not far away from the closest tram stop and also convenient for the Rabat Ville train station. Very affordable. I visited during the Moroccan winter - although there is no central heating, a heating device and a huge amount of blankets were provided.

Cons:

A few small or less small details which were odd and mean that the place currently lags behind its potential. No sign on the entance, just the house number, not the easiest and most quiet way to lock the room door, no waste bin in the room, the room has windows facing the corridor which have iron bars but otherwise cannot be closed and if somebody wants, they can open the window itself from the outside. The stairs are quite steep. The toilet is one floor below the room and its door is very peculiar: exiting the toilet, even for me, a man somewhat below the average male height of my ethnicity, the door only reaches the level of my neck. Maybe some of these are minor issues but combined they make L'Oa a clumsier place to stay than it could be.

Pros:

Tout était formidable et impeccable, du calme à la propreté des lieux, mais surtout, et c’est le plus important l’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte. Je le remercie infiniment pour ce mois inoubliable dans la plus belle ville du Royaume. À refaire sans aucun doute !

Pros:

Gute Lage und flexible Check-in Möglichkeit. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und der Preis ist gut.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, jedoch wurde die Bettwäsche vermutlich nicht gewechselt (dies hatte ich auch beim anderen Zimmer festgestellt).
Zudem ist das Haus nicht wirklich gut erhalten. Das Dach ist nur provisorisch montiert, wodurch es häufiger laut knallt und der Wind bis ins Zimmer zieht. Ebenfalls ein Vogel lebt dadurch im Gemeinschaftsbereich, wodurch an mehreren Stellen Vogelkot ist.
In Summe gibt es einige Kritikpunkte, welche vom europäischem Standard abweichen und schlechter als vergleichsweise Unterkünfte in Marokko waren.

Pros:

The location was amazing, really central and close to main sights. Very close to one huge street with many shops, food vendors etc.

The host was also very kind, he gave me all the necessary information that I needed and some tips on where to go in town, what to visit and so on. He even offered his WhatsApp number so that I can message him if I end up having some questions.

The room itself is also nice, good size and I even had space to unzip my big luggage and keep it open the whole time.

Cons:

My issue is, that I believe my bedding sheets have not been changed and clean at the time of my arrival. I could immediately tell by the color of the pillowcase (the sheets were white) but my opinion was reassured once I smelled the pillowcase, it did not smell clean or fresh, most likely left from the person who was in the room before me.

Another slight issue was the heating, I found it a bit cold in the room considering it is January. Even though, some sort of an electrical heater is provided in the room, that didn’t really help much or make the room feel warmer as it was very small.

Ideas for improvement: please add bins to the rooms, I really needed one for my trash.

A very nice stay at l’OA in the heart of Rabat
Pros:

I truly enjoyed my stay at the riad. It is very centrally located, close to all the main touristic sights of Rabat, while still being extremely calm at night. The property itself is beautiful and full of charm. I visited Rabat during a particularly cold period, but everything was thoughtfully arranged: I had a heater and plenty of warm blankets, which made my stay very comfortable. The host is truly gentle and helpful, which made the experience even more pleasant.
