Tiny and noisy! Do not be fooled by the word Lodge or pictures that make it look spacious.
Pros:

We liked the proximity of the property to Lookout Mountain and the retro fridge. That's about all we liked.

Cons:

This place does NOT deserve an Exceptional "10" rating. Let's be fair to your other Booking clients. I trusted the "10"
1. It is incredibly tiny. There is no place to open one's suitcases, the bedside tables hold very little and the lodging has one of those tiny "corner" showers in which one can barely turn around (and I am slender!) The sink in the bathroom has no "shoulders" or counter on which to place items like a shaver or toothpaste. 2. There is no one on site to help, so everything is done via text and phone call. We had trouble getting in because we did not know how to use the door code. It took minutes to gain entry and we were tired from a long day of travel. 3. The air conditioner was very loud. So loud, we could not sleep. If we turned it off, the room got hot fast. It was difficult to adjust the temperature on the AC and even at the lowest fan setting, it was too loud. But there were no windows to open to cool the room naturally. 4. Even though the property is on Lookout Mountain, it has a very modest view and no windows to see it through anyway (other than the highly louvered door insert window). The appearance of the property from the road is very plain with no landscaping, making it look like a cheap, old-fashioned motel. Using the term "Lodge" in the name is inappropriate, because it implies a place with more grandeur and charm. It take the name now to be a cheap marketing trick. The photography was very clever, making the room look larger and more beautiful than it was. Combined with the name Lodge and the Exceptional "10" rating, I suckered for the booking, which I highly regret. I feel tricked and taken advantage of. You embarrassed me in front of my fiancee, who was not impressed and critical that I used Booking to make the reservation. Bottom line: CHANGE THE RATING OF THE PROPERTY.
