A superb stay with stunning sea‑view rooms, great spa facilities, excellent dining and service
Pros:

A fantastic stay at Rate Asty Mykonos Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect — peaceful with stunning Aegean views, yet close enough to reach Mykonos Town easily. Our room was a standout, especially the private balcony overlooking the sea and the private plunge pool, which made the stay feel truly luxurious. The amenities were high‑quality and thoughtfully chosen.
The spa facilities were excellent, offering a calm, beautifully designed space with everything needed to unwind — from relaxing areas to well‑maintained wellness features that made it easy to switch off and recharge. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, and the concierge provided excellent recommendations and seamless arrangements. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes and great service each morning. The overall dining experience was consistently impressive.

Cons:

If anything could be improved, it would be the noise from the road in front of the hotel, which was noticeable at times. That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a superb stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ohne inbegriffene Transfers ist nicht ideal.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, unser Zimmer mit Meerblick und Whirlpool war auch toll uns super ausgestattet und vor allem schön groß (Deluxe Doppelzimmer ) , Poll area ist sehr schön angelegt mit ausreichend Liegestühlen und Frühstücksareal ebenso sehr schön.

Cons:

Nicht gefallen hat uns die Lage oben auf dem Berg. Um nach Mykonos Stadt zu kommen, muss man eine schmale Straße ohne Bürgersteig 500 m den Berg runter bzw. wieder hochlaufen. Um über die Straße vor dem Hotel zu kommen, muss man ein ganzes Stück entlang zurücklaufen, da das Hotel in einer Kurve der stark befahrenen Straße liegt und es auch für Erwachsene eine Herausforderung ist, diese durch den starken Verkehr zu überqueren.
Für den Taxi Transfer vom Flughafen ( 1,2 km) wurden 40 Euro über Privattransfer berechnet, andere Hotels bieten in ihrem Übernachtungspreis kostenlos Shuttles zum Flughafen oder Fährhafen an, das ist hier nicht der Fall. Uns wurde erklärt, dass die Regierung einen Mindestpreis für Privatshuttles (externe Anbieter) von 40 Euro festgelegt hat. Taxen gibt es in ganz Mykonos nur begrenzt auf 30 Stück. Andere Hotels bieten auch über whatsapp eine Abholung abends aus Mykonos Stadt wieder an, um zurück zum Hotel zu kommen, falls dieses so wie unseres oben auf dem Berg liegt; der Weg nach dem Abendessen zurück zum Hotel war jedesmal im Dunkeln auf Straßen ohne Bürgersteig eine Herausforderung, von den Höhenmetern ganz zu schweigen.
Das Frühstück dauerte an 2 von 3 Tagen fast mehr als 1 Stunde, es gibt kein Buffet, am ersten Tag wurde uns fürs lange Warten eine Sektflasche aufs Zimmer gebracht, die wir eigentlich nicht wirklich benötigten. Am zweiten Tag wurde als Entschuldigung zwar unsere Zimmernummer notiert, eine Entschädigung für 1 Stunde warten erhielten wir aber dann nicht mehr. Auch nicht bei der Schlussrechnung. Die Mengen des Rühreis, die dann serviert wurden, waren leider immer so groß, dass sie für 2 Personen gereicht hätten.

Il posto era bello come struttura, lo staff erano molto bravi.

Volevo condividere che non mi è piaciuto il comfort della suite privata con piscina privata che avevo scelto, per pagare una cifra del genere a notte, almeno i muri della camera non dovevano essere tutti sporchi, in alto sembrava come se c’era un po’ di muffa ,il bagno quando lo vedevi capivi che non eri a un Luxury di 5stelle. Ne ho visti di Luxury che sono stati molto più meglio di questo.

Gorgeous hotel with stunning views, located a short distance from the old town
Pros:

The service, quality standards and overall experience at Asty exceeded mine and my friend's expectations. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, with every detail carefully thought out. The staff were incredibly attentive, and it was some of the best service I've ever received. We also loved that we had two bathrooms and two showers in the rooms, and our own plunge pool. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos, and it's the nicest hotel I've stayed at to date.

Very special, can’t wait to go back.
Pros:

The staff were fantastic, especially Natalia and Nancy on the front desk. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The place had a very chilled, cool vibe. Our room was huge, two showers and two toilets. The bedroom was downstairs so was cool and dark.

Kein Buffet zum Frühstück, nur relativ begrenzte Karte und bei Eierspeisen waren sie auch nicht flexibel. Der Kaffee war nicht doll, die haben keine Espresso-Tassen?!? 😳

Other than the good and friendly staff I wasn’t impressed with anything at this hotel

The staff was very nice, specially Nancy she was very helpful and supportive

Cons:

We chose this hotel because of the private pool, but it was freezing cold and we couldn’t use it at all. This was late May so the weather was very nice and warm during the day. If the pool was heated it would’ve been perfect. Moreover, the mobile signal is weak at the hotel but if the wifi connection was good our problem would’ve been solved. Very poor wifi. Breakfast menu didn’t have much of option but it was ok. There is no buffet

It’s a very classy, beautiful hotel. Especially for couples or adult group holidays.

Cons:

The only thing I would say is that the hotel room didn’t provide Daily replenish shampoo conditioner and shower gel I had to ask for this and also the pods for the coffee machine. I think the money that you have paid for the hotel you shouldn’t have to ring reception for this to be replenished every day, especially because they were small bottles they first give you.

Ein hervorragendes Stadthotel, in dem auch auch gut relaxen kann, das nah zum Zentrum liegt.
Pros:

Das Frühstück wurde serviert, nachdem man sich auf einer Speisekarte angebotene Speisen ausgesucht hatte. Diese waren sehr gut und reichhaltig. Es gab zuvor einen Korb mit Brot, Toast, kleinem süßem oder herzhaften Gebäck und Croissants.
Dazu Butter, Honig und Marmelade. Leider konnte man weder Käse noch Wurst extra bestellen. Wir haben auch ein Angebot von frischen Fisch, z.B. Räucherlachs oder ähnliches) zum Frühstück vermisst.
In den gleichen Räumlichkeiten befindet sich auch das sehr stylisch eingerichtete Restaurant, in dem man sehr gut (kleine Karte) essen kann.
Positiv ist auch, dass es Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel gibt, wenn man mit einem Wagen unterwegs ist. Ansonsten ist es in Mykonos Stadt schwierig, Parkplätze zu finden.
Das Hotelgelände ist mit natürlichen Materialien toll angelegt worden und mit Gräsern, Pflanzen, Palmen u.v.m. versehen worden. Die Suiten sind unterschiedlich mit Terrassen, die über kleine Pool-Becken verfügen bis hin zu Balkonen mit Jacuzzis.
Es war alles hervorragend mit einem sehr aufmerksamen Service.

Cons:

Leider liegt die Hotelanlage an einer extrem befahrenen Hauptstraße von Mykonos-Stadt und es ist demgemäß ziemlich laut.
