We were absolutely lovwd our stay at Akra Suites. From the friendly staff, stunning views, and beautifully designed rooms to the perfect location in Imerovigli. Everything was seamless and made us feel truly special.

Everything!!! The location is perfection! Unbelievable view, but just far enough from Thira and the crowds that it was quiet and peaceful. The property is stunning and pristine.
Absolutely nothing.
The staff was really friendly and helpful with everything that we needed. They helped us organize a private transfer to and from the airport, get us a rental car delivered directly to the hotel. Helped with carrying the luggage to the transfer from the hotel. The breakfast was nice, not much to choose from but the extra dishses they can make on demand are great. If you're staying for 2-3 nights the food selection will be okay. The staff was also really accomodating providing us an early check-in since the room was already ready on the day of our arrival.
Well there are many things I would like to point out. First one is price/performance, the deluxe suite with outdoor jetted tub is definetly not worth it. If you ask me you should just book the cheapest room they have, because you can enjoy the Caldera view from either the pool or bar/restaurant from the hotel and the location is very nice so you can also go for a walk around the area and see a lot. The jetted outdoor tub is cold so not worth the money to have this room. You can book the rooms directly on their website it will be cheaper than here on booking. It states 24 hour front desk, well it's open from 7.30 to 00.00 for the rest they have an emergency contact if anything happens. It was a bit annoying for us as we arrived 6.40 and they didn't work yet (but one of the staff members was already at the hotel at the time and she let us in to the reception to leave our luggage so we could go around to a nearby bar for morning coffee).
Hotel boutique muy agradable, vistas maravillosas, ubicación excelente, habitación espaciosa y bonita, zona de piscina muy agradable, desayuno muy bueno....y se accede sin escaleras, con punto cercano para recogida de taxi. Personal muy agradable. Todo muy positivo.

The location of Akra suites was great, easy to get around and quieter than the capital Fira. Quick walk to lovely restaurants and sunsets.
Although the location was great, and the room was a good size with a balcony and plunge pool, the room wasn't very clean, we arrived barely and they let us have the room early but I was expecting it to be cleaned the next day, and it wasn't really, just bed made not actually cleaned. There isn't anywhere pack or store suitcases in room either. The breakfast was okay but the staff didn't seem to be very happy. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. We liked the location but wouldn't particularly return to Akra suites.
Aamupala oli tosi hyvä ja monipuolinen. Palvelu aivan priimaa. Terassinäkymät oli huikeat ja auringonlasku näkyi terassilta erinomaisesti.
Ulkoporealtaalle paistoi vain aamuisin aurinko )oli eri puolella terassia) ja se vesi oli aika kylmää.
