Large rooms, decent bathrooms, plenty of hot water and very good location.
Had a little trouble getting reception and had to call the owner to have us let inside. Small issue but could be more annoying if you were in a hurry. Also having to walk past the barking dog could be a big issue for other guests.
Very close to the center, The lady who takes care of the building is so friendly and helpful .Even the owner I talked on the phone is so friendly

Ik boekte de hele villa, wat volgens booking bestaat uit 9 kamer met grote dubbele bedden, goed voor 20 slaapplaatsen. Zie oplijsting hieronder.

Geboekte kamers met beschreven bedden bestaan niet.
Bij aankomst bleek dit niet te kloppen.
Ze beschikken niet over 9 kamers, deze bestaan gewoonweg niet. We kregen initieel 4 kamers, elk met één tweepersoonsbed en één eenpersoonsbed, en één kamer met 2 tweepersoonsbedden. Dat zijn 16 slaapplaatsen, en niet de 20 waarop we gerekend hadden. Daarbij wilde ik iedereen een eigen bed geven, wat met deze 10 bedden geen mogelijkheid was.
Na lang aandringen kregen we nog 2 extra kamers met een tweepersoonsbed in een verder gelegen deel van het huis. Deze waren erg vuil en niet beschikbaar toen we wilden inchecken.
Betaling ging mis, eigenaar eiste plots extra geld.
Ik wilde betalen bij aankomst, maar dat wilden ze niet. Ze wilden het pas de volgende ochtend afrekenen. Hier was ik beter niet mee akkoort gegaan, want de volgende ochtend vroegen ze meer geld dan overaan was gekomen via Booking. Ze wilden er nog een extra 10% bovenop en daarbij vroegen ze nog een extra kost voor iets dat ik niet begreep. Hun Engels was gebrekkig. De eigenaar die ik enkel aan de telefoon kreeg, die me uitschelde via de telefoon en die maar bleef ratelen zodat hij niet naar mij moest luisteren, drijgde ermee de politie te bellen. Nu waren wij volledig in ons recht, maar we hadden niet de tijd om op politie te wachten omdat we onze trein moesten halen. Na veel geroep en choas hebben we het initiele be

Worst experience I have ever had. Not safe for guests. It says it is 24 hours, at 11pm when my boyfriend and I are fast asleep the owner came crashing through our door terrifying us both. In the morning he explained it was because he was going to bed and wanted to lock up and I wasn't answering my phone. Once I finally connected to some Internet I realised he had called 6 times and sent 3 messages from about 9pm asking us to come back as he wanted to lock up. He seemed angry and frantic when he came into our room as he was frustrated from not being able to reach us. Absolutely appalling, not safe at all. And no mention of a curfew when checking in.
Then there are the other problems such as having ago at us for being Genius level as he misses out of money, slagging off booking.com, not letting us connect to the Internet as our room is a budget room, dog locked in a cage our entire stay and never let out, dirty room, no toilet roll.

Very friendly owner! Clean rooms with AC! Really good location (nearby lake). They can also provide breakfast or other food and there is a beautiful balcony :)
Very personable owner, who provided a warm welcome (including tea for colleagues who were pausing briefly while I checked in). Comfortable bed, efficient ceiling fan and nice surroundings. Handy for the lake and only 5-6 minutes away from the city centre.
Somewhat whiffy drains, and the wifi didn’t reach the bedroom.
the owners were friendly, talkative and accomodating. the location was convenient. the rooms could do with a bit of a zhuzh. cheap price.

A mother, her daughter and their dog checked in at 10:30pm. I heard the dog barking behind the wall, several times during the night.

I am a woman traveling by myself. In this hotel, I chose a budget room, a type of room that has always satisfied my needs in other structures. Here however I found mold on almost all the walls in the room which caused an unbearable smell. There were cockroaches in the room, the fan switch was broken and there was no wifi. When I asked for a light blanket, the girl gave me one that was thrown among other objects on the sofa in the passing corridor. I was supposed to spend two nights in the property, but obviously after the first night I spoke to the owner and informed him of my decision to contact Booking to cancel the second night. He insisted that I stay and offered me a superior category room for a good price, much lower than in a normal situation. After a lot of insistence I decided to accept the proposal because the gentleman seemed really sorry that I had had such a terrible experience. But from that moment he took on inappropriate attitudes, insisting that I find time to chat with him and accusing me with recriminatory messages on WhatsApp (thus making improper use of my data). At check out, angry because I had not satisfied his requests, he started shouting, insulting me and accusing me of not having paid the correct amount. Ultimately I spent the worst 2 days of my holiday here and I strongly advise single women not to book at this facility.
