Akra Suites and Spa was absolutely amazing, we stayed for a week and we loved every minute.

The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect.

Breakfast was very nice with a huge variety of fresh and tasty dishes. The all day menu was also very nice.

The staff makes the hotel extra special

Das Hotel Akra ist in Wirklichkeit sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Der Ausblick war fantastisch und atemberaubend – wir waren sehr froh, genau dieses Hotel gewählt zu haben.
Im Poolbereich war immer ein Platz frei – dass Liegen nicht reserviert werden können, fanden wir super. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen möchte, ist in diesem Teil von Santorini (Imerovigli) genau richtig.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren stilvoll eingerichtet. Ein Hinweis: Die Fotos der Zimmer mit den "Jetted Tubs" auf Expedia können etwas irreführend sein, schaut lieber noch mal auf der Hotelwebsite.
Die Musik am Pool war gut ausgewählt und lief fast den ganzen Tag – gefühlt waren es allerdings nur fünf Songs, ein wenig mehr Abwechslung wäre wünschenswert. Direkt am Hotel befinden sich gute Restaurants und zwei wundervolle Bars.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Many restaurants and bars right outside the hotel area. Beautiful views from the room. Staff was very friendly and everything was kept so clean. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their professional and friendly service. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was handled with care and attention to detail.

The restaurant was a true highlight – delicious food, beautifully presented, and a great selection that satisfied every taste. Breakfast and lunch were all exceptional, and the atmosphere in the dining area felt both elegant and relaxed.

Our room was modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The design combines luxury with practicality, and we appreciated all the thoughtful details. Everything was spotless thanks to the housekeeping team, who maintained a very high standard throughout our stay.

Localização perfeita em Imerovigli com linda vista. Ótima e confortável acomodação e um atendimento muito atento e cuidadoso do pessoal do hotel. Voltaria, com certeza.

Pool side amenities are amazing, breakfast buffet is phenomenal, and do not miss the Spa!

There is very little to say about our four days staying at this hotel: it was quite simply totally excellent in every possible respect.

Where we thought that this hotel wins is the frankly unbelievable location, the staff, the amenities, the access (be warned: some other hotels are on *extremely* steep stairs and paths) and the room quality.

We very much enjoyed the breakfasts and found that the property was very well maintained, clean and tidy and everything worked. Our room was surprisingly large and we had great service throughout our stay.

BIG pluses (we thought): the hotel is on the path to both Oia (LONG cliff top walk on rough paths at times) and in the other direction Fira (about 40 mins down hill on well maintained paths). We thought Imorvigli was an ideal location to see the whole island - and is the highest point with truly stunning views. The town is also very nice and has a plethora of excellent restaurants all within an easy walk.

Would we go back? Yes; very probably. While there must be literally dozens of other hotels and studios, on reflection we would find it immensely hard to beat staying at this hotel, if only for the views and access. Thank you!

Loved location and caldera views!

We were really looking forward to our stay here, but unfortunately, this hotel fell short in several key areas.

First and most surprising: the in-room hot tub was not heated. We were told this was due to high electricity costs and that the hotel had made a decision to cut power to all hot tubs. So despite paying for a room with this feature, it was completely unusable in May—the water was far too cold.

Second, while we booked a room advertised with a Caldera view, what we actually got was a view of the hotel pool. All the rooms seem to face inward toward the pool area, not the open sea. This was quite misleading, especially when you’re expecting the iconic Santorini experience.

Third, the hotel’s handling of our concerns was poor. Each time we brought up the issues, we were told to speak with the “manager” in the morning, but no manager ever appeared during the entire three-night stay. We felt completely brushed off and stuck in a room that lacked both privacy and comfort.

Lastly, for those coming to Imerovigli to enjoy the famous sunsets: this hotel is not in the right location for that. It’s on the side of town where the sunset is obscured. If a sunset view matters to you (and in Santorini, it usually does), you’d be much better off staying at a hotel on the other side of Imerovigli with a direct line of sight to Oia and the sea.

There are so many beautiful, better-located hotels in the area—do yourself a favor and choose one of those instead.

Hotel bem localizado em Imerovigli, próximo a vários e bons restaurantes. Linda vista. Piscina agradável. Bom café da manhã. Fomos recebidos com frutas e uma garra de vinho. Agua gratuita todos os dias. O bar não estava funcionando quando estávamos na piscina. A piscina/banheira não é aquecida. Há estacionamento pago próximo por 10 euros a diária.

Estadia incrível! O hotel tem uma localização fantástica, em frente a caldera de Santorini. Todo pessoal do hotel (bem como de toda a ilha!) são atenciosos, prestativos e muito simpáticos! Ao lado hotel tem um barzinho de drinks que toda uma playlist maravilhosa! Voltaremos ao hotel em uma próxima estadia em Santorini com certeza!

Our stay in the Honeymoon suite was enjoyable. However as it was in late April/early May, it was still low season and so the hotel restaurant was not open. There is only the breakfast buffet — perhaps it is also because of the low volume of hotel guests that there weren’t too many options at breakfast as well. Also, it would’ve been great if the tv was a smart TV :)

I booked the honeymoon suite and I think I got the best room on the property, if not the town. I visited Fira and Oia, but wow I am so glad to have chosen Imerovigli. It is more serene and quiet. Our tour guide called it the village of the honeymooners. The hotel is right off of the famous walking path, on the higher side. The private balcony and jacuzzi has a perfect unobstructed view of the sunset that beat the overcrowded square of Oia. What an amazing property.
