Nice staff nice view for anyone who wants to be far from everything

Location directly at a river, romantic atmosphere and stylish hotel area. The price is also still very good for that place.
I have been here multiple times over the years and really like the hotel but sadly their most cute rooms are not maintained well enough. So this time it was the least pleasant time there. We had a broken bathtub, many things seem too old and not functional and a very humid room, our clothes even smelled unpleasant after leaving for a few days.
I like the hot water in the shower
There were ants and insects all over and on the bed as well. I understand that it's the countryside. However, both beds had multiple holes in the sheets that looked dirty. We were very uncomfortable with that. Those sheets were not suited for hotel guest.

Location is central and pool was great. River cafe was wonderful and food was good.

The first person who I asked to checked wasn’t so friendly. Spoke to me impolitely. But then the second person who entertained me was polite and smiled talking to me. It was stressful to look for the hotel because the google map is confusing.
The garden surrounding beautiful.
The bed was very hard.
The douche/shower cold and dirty.
The tables dirty.
The breakfast terrible. We ask for fried rice. But there was no chicken and no vegetable, so we have only rice wit a egg inside..
But the most terrible was the KARAOKE until midnight from somewhere else, with many many decibel’s,
So nobody can sleep in this area.
Absolutely Beautiful setting …. Until you open the door to your room. Walls, furniture, all in disrepair and scuffed, peeling or broken. Do not stay here unless you have no other alternatives.
Staff at check in terrible, rude, like we were bothering them just to check in. I should have listened to other reviews that said the same thing. Three nights cold water shower, they said they can’t fix it. It’s always been that way they said. Three rooms none of the tv’ s worked. Asked for an extra blanket and pillow. They said no , then said 500 baht extra per day for a pillow and blanket. I have travelled the world during my career, this ranks number one as the worst I have ever experienced. Motel 6 in the USA was 100% better. I can overlook bad conditions . But bad mgmt and staff are unacceptable . It’s obvious the ownership has not visited or audited the property in several years if ever. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here if you want an hassle free and comfortable vacation.
