In my last stay, I think the people forgot to keep the water in our rooms,

Many time I called through intercom to reception but no proper response, at the end I myself went out and picked up the bottle from my car and used.. It's very unfortunate, please use the checklist always whenever prepare the rooms for customer to ensure not missing anything..

Resort met veel potentieel, maar helaas bijna vergane glorie
Pros:

Het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de dode zee, de buitenruimtes zijn goed onderhouden en zowat alle kamers hebben zicht op de dode zee. Het personeel is vriendelijk, en doet zijn best om ons te helpen. De kamers waren net gekuist wanneer we aankwamen, men doet wel echt zijn best, helaas begint het gebrek aan toeristen wat door te wegen op het onderhoud, zo zijn er bijvoorbeeld nog maar 2 van de 4 zwembaden in gebruik.

Cons:

Er waren enkele mensen een feest aan het maken in het zwembad met luide, zelfs te luide muziek. In plaat van daarop te reageren was de barman met allerlei trukken aan het proberen om nog meer volume uit de installatie te krijgen. Zo druk dat hij onze gebaren om een drankje te bestellen te lang genegeerd heeft. In het zwembad was het gebrek aan onderhoud ook duidelijk, hier en daar zaten enkele tegels los. We hebben het zwembad dan ook maar verlaten want het was er niet fijn vertoeven.

Snachts werd een van onze twee kamer gewekt door maar liefst 3 kakkerlakken, toen we er wat van zeiden werd er wat lakoniek over gedaan. Het ontbijt was de laatste teleurstelling, door het gebrek aan gasten was het aan tafel in plaats van buffetvorm, op zich begrip voor, maar enkel hummus, een gekookt ei en wat cake is toch bijzonder karig.

The food was awful, the breakfast had nothing, old bread and the cheapest hotdogs on earth, hummus doesn’t taste good, only filtered coffee there is no coffee machine, I paid for dinner for the first night in the open buffet, there was nothing also. Only green beans , white rice, potatoes and fish fillets which didn’t taste good. I ate mostly rice. The beach on the sea had no lifeguard and it wasn’t the cleanest. Plastic bottles and cigarettes on the ground, and in order to go to the sea you need to jump! I’ve expected a better experience from a 4 stars resort. I left one day before my checkout because I couldn’t stay more and I had to reserve in a different hotel.

Pros:

Très bon emplacement et chambres agréables avec belle vue sur la Mer Morte.
Personnel très serviable, avec mention spéciale pour le maître nageur aux petits soins pour accompagner notre bain de mer et de boue.

Kamer voldoet niet aan de basisnormen voor hygiëne en onderhoud.
Cons:

Bij aankomst merkten we dat de kamer niet was schoongemaakt. Ook nadat we hadden aangegeven dat de kamer niet proper was, werd enkel het bed verschoond. We spraken de manager aan, maar hij kon of wou ons niet verder helpen en adviseerde ons om Booking.com te contacteren. Toen Booking.com contact opnam, bleek het hotel niet bereid om mee te werken.

Ook het domein is niet meer in de staat die op de foto's wordt getoond. Grote delen van het gebouw zijn verlaten en er wordt duidelijk weinig aandacht besteed aan hygiëne en onderhoud. We hebben hier uiteindelijk niet overnacht.

Ik raad dit hotel sterk af.

Too many things to be improved
Pros:

Next to Dead Sea

Cons:

The rooms were not ready until 15.00h, even though checking time is 14.00h. Rooms were not clean, staff forgot about it whenever we asked for something (extra towels, sheet etc.) There was a pool bar, but we have never found someone to order things. To get to the beach of Dead Sea, you have to go down a lot of stairs and on the way back climb a lot too, not very suitable for elderly or physically disabled people.
