It was great! And host was very responsive.
Pros:

Quiet, clean and close to the station

Cons:

Door in the second bedroom has a slight defect. Needed to lift it so I can fully close the door.

Great location, but legally dubious property
Pros:

The location is fantastic. Located in a great neighborhood in Astoria, and very easy to get to the train line and downtown. The apartment itself is nice enough and gets the job done for a weekend visit to NYC.

Cons:

One day when we returned to the apartment, we found an eviction notice left on the door. We sent a picture of it to the owner, and they didn't really say anything about it. It wasn't clear to us if it's even legal for that apartment to be used for Booking.com or AirBnB. Overall this left our group kind of anxious about whether we'd get in trouble for being there.

L’appartement est bien situé mais demande un nettoyage en profondeur et des travaux remise en état

Appartement bien situé. À 20 minutes en métro de Times Square

Cons:

Manque de propreté 😡😡La douche est dans un état déplorable.
Le parquet au sol est défoncé !
Je ne vous invite pas à soulever les coussins du canapé !
À savoir que la cinquième personne doit dormir sur un matelas gonflable dans le salon.

Buen alojamiento con detalles a mejorar
Pros:

Apartamento amplio y bien equipado, aunque el estado del suelo del salón no es óptimo. Nos gustó mucho la zona por la tranquilidad del barrio y la variedad de comercios, supermercados y restaurantes cercanos. La parada del metro está a 7 minutos caminando en línea recta, sin pérdida posible. Desde allí se tarda unos 25 minutos en llegar a Times Square. Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión, quien respondió rápidamente a todas mis preguntas. En general, una experiencia satisfactoria, aunque con algunos detalles a mejorar.

Cons:

El colchón de la habitación principal no era muy firme. La limpieza de la ducha y de algunas áreas del apartamento resultó apenas aceptable. El suelo de madera presentaba zonas dañadas y desniveles en ciertos puntos, por lo que debíamos tener cuidado al caminar. Considerando el precio que pagamos, esperábamos un alojamiento con menos inconvenientes.

Roomy and affordable with most basics
Pros:

location was great. the place itself was large and conveniently located near the subway. AC works great

Cons:

Bring sponge/hand towel/wash cloths. TV reception not good. Acceptable, but could use a paint job or deep clean.

Really enjoyed the apartment and would definitely recommend
Pros:

Location was perfect, a quiet neighbourhood only 10 minutes from the city. The apartment is extremely spacious and there is a great little corner shop close to the apartment that do amazing bagels
