Pros:

Les repas de la Señora Olivia étaient délicieux. La terrasse au 1er étage était agréable le soir. Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement central qui nous a permis de vivre au rythme des habitants de l'île.

Es war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt und wir konnten das Leben auf der Insel von da aus gut erkunden.
Pros:

Wunderbar zentral und schön, wenn man am Dorfleben interessiert ist. Liebe und zuvorkommende Menschen - danke Juan und auch Richard für eure Bemühungen. Es war immer sehr sauber und hatte frischen Kaffee auf dem Tisch.

Cons:

Orientierung was in der Umgebung möglich ist und klare Kommunikation hat etwas gefehlt.

Pros:

The hotel is just a short walk from the harbor in Isla Fuerte. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and do everything they can to ensure your stay is perfect. I truly enjoyed my time there; it was both relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are freshly prepared and available if you request them in advance. Laundry services are completed within a day.Overall, it was the wonderful experience I anticipated on this beautiful small island.

Cons:

Just a heads up: the host speaks only Spanish, which adds to the authentic local experience! Also, the local power system means there’s no electricity during the day, but that’s not a problem since you’ll likely be enjoying the beach or diving anyway.

I could live here forever
Pros:

Wonderful owners and workers. Helpful, proactive, great communication even if my Spanish comprehension was, ahem, lacking. The location is very close to the beach where small boats (lanchas) deliver you to the island. A choice of paid meals were available if desired. Refrigerator access was available for guests. Not a noisy hotel/hostel? immaculately cleaned, the island breezes are refreshing through the windows. My personal favorite was the willingness of the owners to boil me hot water 2X every morning, for my tea. The multiple areas upstairs to relax on the different verandas/balcony in comfortable chairs. The restricted hours of electricity availability were clearly explained. Great bathroom towels and great attached private bath and shower in my room. Fan mounted on room wall to refresh you.

Cons:

A few times at midday, electricity was not exactly on the schedule. However, one day when no one was in the building at midday, the owners ran it when I returned. A minor thing that I communicated was that the shower knob in my room was very hard to turn or off.
GOOD TO KNOW: requires stairs to reach the rooms, electricity is available from 5:30 p.m. - 08:00 a.m. and from noon until 1:30 p.m. . Water is a precious commodity, be culturally aware and no long showers.
