Ricisimo. Todo era perfecto, la ubicacion, la qualidad de las habitaciones, la amabilidad de los anfitriones, que hacen todo lo posible para que te sientas cómodo.

Pros:

On se sent comme à la maison. Merci Olivia pour les petit déjeuners et diners excellents. Au coeur du village pour ceux qui aiment les expériences authentiques.

Cons:

Électricité uniquement entre 18h00 et 8h00 mais on est prévenu et il suffit juste de s'organiser.

Pros:

La atención del personal, fueron muy amables y estuvieron pendientes de lo que necesitáramos. El WiFi y la ubicación estaban bien, perfecto para hacer los recorridos hacia el árbol que camina.

Cons:

La habitación estaba caliente, aún con el ventilador no era muy cómodo estar allí.

The food was in general amazing. It's typical Columbian kitchen. It was always fresh, very tasty and filling.
The staff is very kind and they try to help with any requests.

It was good overall.
Pros:

The hosts were friendly and helped us find things to do on the island. They quickly helped us with issues in the bedroom.

Cons:

The room was not cleaned in advance, it was not dirty but there was used soap in the bathroom for example. No breakfast service.

Passable
Pros:

Very nice hosts who did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. However there is a couple of things that would be of great improvement to this hostel:

1, WIFI there is as for now no official WIFI in this hostel, one of the hosts shared his mobile data from outside so i could work but this is something that should be standard these days even tho we are on a island. There is for example other places on the island with free WIFI.

2, No cellphone signal inside the house, unfortunately i was not able to receive calls or use my own data (i use Claro, but it might be better with Tigo?) from inside the house. There's not so much to do about that of course but a thing to consider as a guest.

3, MOSQUITOS there is a lot of them everywhere and one thing that would have made a big difference would have been to put mosquito net on the "windows" in the dorm room, an easy task that would have reduced the crazy amount of bites received during night time.

The host helped me to transfer my stuff from one dorm to another for the last night (out of 3 nights) so i could enjoy the new room for myself that was a very nice gesture. 🙌

All and all this hostel was good for the pricing around 65 000cop/night.
Without any breakfast included and no Air-conditioning as expected for this typ of rate.

A strong 👍🏽 for the great host Juan Camilo and his partner.
