Nous sommes arrivés en plein festival d'hiver, l'ambiance était chaleureuse et l'équipement était top (sauna jacuzzi, billard fléchette, café et thé en self service).
Nous étions déçus de n'y passer qu'une seule nuit !!!

Perfektes Hotel und Lage. Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und groß. Super leckeres und ausreichendes Frühstück. Hoteleigenes Restaurant sowie das selbstgebraute Bier sind sehr zu empfehlen.

zum Nordlicht suchen ganz o.k.

nicht zuviel licht ums hotel was beim nordlicht gucken hilft ( weckservice ) .
hot tub und sauna gibts gratis dazu

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel hat uns wirklich begeistert! Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir den Nordlicht-Service – sobald die Lichter zu sehen waren, wurden wir sofort angerufen. Das Team war jederzeit hilfsbereit, hat uns bei der Planung von Touren unterstützt und sich bei allen Fragen oder Anliegen Zeit genommen.

Ein echtes Plus ist die 24-Stunden-Maschine für Kaffee und heiße Schokolade – perfekt nach einem langen Tag in der Kälte. Auch das hoteleigene Restaurant hat hervorragend gekocht. Die Preise sind, wie überall in Island, etwas höher, aber absolut angemessen für die Qualität.

Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und komfortabel. Der Duschstrahl hätte etwas stärker sein können, und der typische Schwefelgeruch in der Gegend (durch die Geysire) ist manchmal wahrnehmbar – dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Dafür waren die Hot Pots und die Sauna einfach großartig und haben das Erlebnis perfekt abgerundet.

Insgesamt hatten wir ein fantastisches Erlebnis und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Cons:

Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Einfahrt war oft sehr vereist und rutschig. Hier könnte man vielleicht besser streuen oder salzen, um die Anfahrt sicherer zu machen.
