I had some reservations while booking this hotel due to the mix reviews. So let me just start with the good things first. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Great location. Good food. And good staff members. Much thanks to Mohammed, happy, Monica, Aida and resturant manager, Hassen for all your great hospitality and assistance. We truly appreciate you. Now the manager not so was good with communication. Our second day staying here we returned to our room with no bath towels, and the water shut off. When we went to the manager about this, where we were informed that there were two towels with makeup on it and one towel missing from the room. He tried to argue that that wasn’t the reason why our water wasn’t on that it was some sort of technical issue. However, both of our neighbors had their water working just fine. He went on to tell us that there would be a $20 charge for each towel that was damaged with make up and the one that was taken from the room. This nearly ruined me preparing for my birthday celebration as we were already in the crunch for time. Nonetheless, we were able to talk to him and settle everything out. After my birthday celebration and things settled down the next day I did discuss with him about properly communicating with guess. He did not end up charging us for the towels, and he did apologize about the mishaps as he saw how upset I was and my mother told him we were never coming back. He doesn’t seem to be a bad guy, and accepted the feedback.
Manager was argumentative and rude when we brought up issues with the room etc. Carpet was ripped up and in bad shape in the rooms. No soap in shower/bathroom dispenser. Construction going on in rooms. No butter for toast during breakfast. No meat during breakfast. Wouldn’t stay again.
The customer service from check in to the last day is top notch,very close to the beach and the Restaurant food was so nice.
Good place to stay. Nothing bad nothing fancy. Could be cheaper but it was ok. Rooms are spacious. Big pool. Jacuzzi doesn’t work. Rooms are carpeted. Hot/cold water and pressure ok. Breakfast are limited

The hotel is overall very good. The breakfast is varied and offers several options. I miss yogurt and some fresher alternatives, but that has been lacking throughout Africa during my trip. The menu offers a wide range of choices and is reasonably priced. There’s a gym that’s ok. The rooms are very fresh, with both AC and a fan. You get pretty much everything you need! We were here during the low season, so the price for a week was the best! For this standard, it was the cheapest in all of Nungwi.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The manager was not cordial or flexible at all when it came to my reservation — even a simple request for a change was met with a rude attitude. The Wi-Fi was terrible and barely worked during my entire stay, which made it very difficult to get anything done. On top of that, the shower had very weak water pressure, making it frustrating to use. Overall, I expected much better service and basic amenities. I definitely do not recommend this place.
The hotel is nice and not so far from beach, rooms are quite good only a bit dated with some of things like safe is amazingly tiny and not working as it should.
Bathroom just most basic things and would need a bit of polish as feel used.
Bed and sleep was good. Over for price paid is really good value.
Breakfast for some reason is mostly sweets, but you can find fruits and some eggs for start.
For working from here... forget about it wifi is just bare minimum, things like conference calls mostly not possible.
on the end I find out there is a massage possible and it was really good just reception did not toold me at check in. Services need some patience.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage dort. Das Essen im Hotel hat immer gut geschmeckt. Es sind ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Meer. Alles in allem war es ein schöner und entspannter Aufenthalt im Canary Hotel. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit

It was a very nice hotel with great facilities and a great breakfast. Comfy beds, nice and cool due to air conditioning, a great pool area and also a spa and gym. I am really happy with my stay.
The staff is very nice and friendly. The communication was good. The room was clean, the only negative thing is that the bathroom smells really bad..
We loved tour stay here the staff are so friendly. Location is perfect and the service is brilliant. Breakfast was exceptional.
