Pros:

The only advantage here is the landscape. It's not a lactury place ,more simple and lucks of comfort. For me it wasn't worth.
No elevator, lot of stairs.
The breakfast is good anough.

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse high in the mountains. The rooms are comfortable and warm and the views incredible. The guesthouse is very close (2 min walk) to the Emmanuel bus stop and a short walk to a couple of local restaurants. The owners are lovely - they offered to drive me to the 7/11 and upgraded my room for free because of the cold weather. The breakfast is delicious (they accommodated for my vegetarian diet upon request) and if you wake up early enough for it you may see the superb sea of clouds over the valley through the dining room window. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you’re visiting Cingjing Farm, making your way up to Hehuanshan, or if you just want a peaceful time away in a beautiful location.

Pros:

Tian Hsiang is located at a quiet yet convenient area, where buses are available if one would like to travel to other attractions around the area or even to Taichung hsr or train stations. Staff was helpful, introducing the nearby walking trails to take when they knew we were not heading to the attractions around. Also ensuring to help with luggage whenever they can. I had a restful stay, weather was awesome (went in December) without the need for air conditioner, and saw the sunset twice from our room facing the mountains. It is great for individuals who would like to take it slow and enjoy the time just looking at nature. Breakfast was nice and simple with toast and congee and I personally love it as it’s very Taiwanese ☺️ there’s a resident cat and dog at the bnb too!
