A rare find in Malta with true service and spotless standards!
Pros:

Our stay at the Voco was exceptional. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and every member of the staff we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. It’s clear that great care goes into making guests feel welcome.

Breakfast was a particular highlight — a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality options that made it hard to choose what to try first. The dining area was pleasant and well organized, and it was a great way to start each day.

If I had to point out the smallest area for improvement, it would be the coffee machine at breakfast.
Every few cups it seemed to take a little break of its own and stop working. To their credit, the staff was incredibly quick to fix it each time, so it was never a major issue — though it did add a couple of unexpected pauses to the morning coffee ritual.

Also, a lighthearted observation: some of the breakfast items were placed on shelves that seemed designed for professional basketball players. For the rest of us, it turned into a bit of an early-morning stretch exercise! :P

Overall, these were very minor quirks in what was otherwise a truly excellent stay.
I would happily return to and recommend to others.

Pros:

Everything was perfect. The staff were fantastic from the doormen to receptionist to cleaners.
Location was good is a short walk to the bars and restaurants.
Can’t fault anything fully recommend.

Nicely designed and comphy hotel
Pros:

Great hotel - newly renovated, nice lobby, nice design and furniture there and the rooms are great with all the amenities you could ask for. Comphy beds, nice shower etc. Great breakfast too.

Cons:

The advertising of using Intercontinental’s spa is a bit misleading, as it’s not really a spa more a pool and one sauna. Those facilities are a bit run down. I was there in January to obv rooftop wasn’t open, which is nice, but indoor pool isn’t great.
Also, the breakfast buffet is way too expensive. €30 EUR is too much, especially if you’re not a big eater in the morning but just want a bit.
