location and staff
Upon arrival i was greeted by a friendly staff member, That was the extent of the good for this place. the following list is the problems with this facility. The security key system was broken so it was old school key lock, The room had NO amenities, NO fridge, clock, coffee maker, Microwave, a broken blow dryer or remote for the Air conditioner that was almost un-accessibility located high on a wall. No vending machines, the one ice machine was located in the pool area and locked up at 9 pm. I had to get a can of bug spray because of the flies and Lysol for the bedding. There where no comfortable seating just an old kitchen style wood table and chairs. the 27 inch TV with a DVD player, after the wedding we attended on Saturday we packed up and left a day early. Im writing this now because i was concerned if i complained at the time or to soon they would charge my credit card for there exorbitant $150 dollar damage fee. It is old, and in need of a complete update. The cost was $150 a night it wasn't worth $50 . The picture of the pie is a snack we picked up before arriving when we got in the room at 4 pm we got dressed and left for the wedding rehearsal and left this unopened on the table, when we returned at 9 pm we found the pie was infested with small flies
There was no breakfast, but it would have been nice and helpful since the motel is a bit farm from places to get breakfast.
I wish there was a mini fridge in the room. Really needed when traveling with little ones.
2nd floor end unit was spacious, clean, and even had it's own private balcony that overlooked the woods. With the ability to close the screen door, we were even able to hear the babbling brook running behind the motel. The bed was comfortable and we liked the vaulted ceilings with rafter beams. They have a gym and reading nook in the basement of the office, which was nice. Being located on the Route 100 Scenic Byway was also very convenient for our next morning drive down to CT.
There wasn't a mini-fridge or coffee maker in the room, and had to go to the main office to get coffee in the morning. We were a bit surprised that guests were placed in the room right next to ours when there appeared to be a lot of vacant rooms on the property. With relatively thin walls, we could hear them speaking loudly in a foreign language, but thankfully we were able to drown them out with the A/C unit.
no breakfast
Good enough location for our needs. Unit was immaculate, maybe recently refurbished? Nice little balcony.
Thin walls -- two nights of noisy neighbors, though they did quiet down by 10. Disappointingly, room had no refrigerator, microwave, or source for coffee/tea. Ice machine unlocked at 8 AM, after we needed to leave each day, so a bit dodgy trying to keep things cold. No nearby source for meals.
The hotel location was nestled in between the mountains of Vermont. This was a perfect location since it provided an escape while also being not too far from the city of Rutland. The room was well-cared for and inviting. There was a babbling stream nearby which when I came out to the little terrace of my hotel room, was a great experience. The front desk people were very nice and hospitable. I am putting this place on the top of my list when I make future plans to ski at Killington.
I could not find anything that I didn't like about this place. I was completely happy with my experience there. I hope to return again someday in the near future, especially when I plan a ski trip with my son there.
There was no breakfast provided, but options were near by.
Didn't know that there was no fridge in my room. Other rooms may have.
There wasn’t any
Maybe something extra for breakfast
For the money we paid - we can't complaint. Big and clean rooms.
You receive rather big list of things you need to do/clean before leaving, to not be extra charged. It felt unnecessary.
