An understanding, flexible, and responsive owner — but let down by poor and unprofessional hotel man
Pros:

Just to clarify for anyone considering this property: this is not a hotel-managed apartment directly rented through the Address Marassi Golf Resort, but rather a privately owned unit that is selectively being managed by the hotel. This means that almost everything you might expect to be included in a hotel stay – such as housekeeping, extra towels, additional bedsheets, extra pillows, or even access to the pools – comes at a separate charge from the booking.

That said, I did appreciate the way the owner handled an issue we faced. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed by nearly three hours (from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm) due to the previous guest not checking out on time. The owner was very apologetic about the situation and kindly compensated us with a late check-out on our final day until 9:00 pm, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Cons:

The attitude of the actual hotel staff, particularly at the front desk. They were consistently cold and unhelpful, and certainly not up to the standards expected of the Address chain. When the issue arose of the previous guest refusing to check out on time (which delayed our own check-in by almost three hours, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm), the staff immediately tried to put all the blame on the owner and distanced themselves from the problem, even though the owner confirmed to us that the guest had overstayed without his permission.

Each time we approached the staff with even a simple question or request, we were met with cold looks and dismissive responses. Unfortunately, as one of the few Egyptian guests at the property, I could not help but feel we received noticeably less warmth and courtesy compared with GCC-based guests, who were greeted with smiles and a visibly different attitude.

Horrible apartment owner. NOT A HOTEL SUITE
Cons:

Checked into the room at 11:00 pm. Found previous guest clothes, extremely dirty bedsheets, bathrooms and carpets. Dead and live insects. Would not even offer a refund and had to book another hotel for the whole stay. And paid in full.
