Nice and cosy
Pros:

Miracles is an amazing young woman helpful, kind and very patient
The room is very clean and nice, really good arrangement.

Cons:

They put me in superior room because an issue in my room and in the end I paid a bit more, they said it was the rate, but it was the price online. The Road is very loud, all night long. traffic

Okay for the price but consider your noise sensitivity levels on weekends
Pros:

Bed was comfortable so I did not wake in the night. Breakfast was simple eggs, toast, jam, coffee but pleasant. Hot water in the showers but you have to turn on the heated machine and wait a while first. Staff were helpful in assisting to get dinner delivered while it was pouring rain outside.

Cons:

Noisy room with thumping club music. Staff said it would end in 30 minutes but 2 hours later, it was still going. I had to put on white noise sounds to fall asleep. Harsh cold lighting in the rooms

Great hotel if you don't want to get any sleep
Pros:

You really want to be able to give this property a very good rating. The building appears to have been a hostel converted into an aparthotel. The refurbishment is really good, but it isn't an aparthotel. At check-in, I asked for a quiet room. When I asked the receptionist to confirm that it was quiet, she did. I was allocated a room at the front, next to a karaoke bar and with motos buzzing up and down the street. I was told that I could be reallocated to another room the next day, if the room was too noisy. I got about three hours sleep. I asked to be reallocated, but was told that there were no rooms available, which was clearly untrue. The curtains in the room are very thin, so you get the light from the street and hotel external LEDs.. Above the door to the room are windows, and there are glass bricks at the top of the wall between the room and next. They use bright white LEDs for all rooms and corridors, meaning that you get no sleep until every else goes to bed and all lights are out. People leaving early wake you up.

Other issues are that despite there being three or four routers, the wifi is often weak. If you are coming for business, then that is a problem. The showers are electric, and no real hot water. Not a major problem for Iquitos, but still.... Breakfast is nice, but plated. I got some attitude when I asked for another cup of coffee.

I rarely give a negative review, with details, but I do not like to be lied to, and I do like to get some sleep.

Despite the good refurbishment, and being four blocks to Plaza das Armas, I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you want some sleep.
