Pros:

직원들이 매우 친절했습니다.
치앙마이 올드타운 내 왓쩨디루앙 사원 근처로 위치도 좋았습니다.

Cons:

My (bad) experience in Chala No.2 Hotel
Pros:

I stayed at this Chala Hotel between 4-9.02.2026 I don't rememeber my order No..: Good location, nice lobby & staircase design, spacious room, breakfast ok.

Cons:

Ugly bulding, very very small sink in a most tiny alcove! The window is not secure! The wooden logs under the edges of the roof are rotten, the warm water flow was weak and alternated abruptly between hot and cold! The shower tap dripped noisily, room lights were very weak! Always stinking smell from the shower drain! The dining room is outside in the street in another building... They charge customers exorbitantly and disproportionately even for very minor damages, for example for a simple drinking glass (costs no more than 70 THB) they charge 250 THB !!! The worst and most dangerous thing in this hotel is their elevator. The doors are manual and uncomfortable, it's terribly slow and very hot in there, there are large, dangerous gaps between the sides of the elevator and its shaft!!! If someone doesn't close the door, it won't arrive... Awful.

Fajny hotelik z mega klimatem i personelem.
Pros:

Super lokalizacja w klimatycznej części miasta, personel w recepcji mega pomocny i uprzejmy, czysto, stylowo, woda na drogę prosto z lodówki przed wejściem.

Cons:

Łazienka mogłaby być większa, szczególnie mikro umywalka.

Charming art hotel with exceptional staff and a superb breakfast nearby
Pros:

Beautiful, artsy hotel with a charming atmosphere and great attention to detail. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help. The location is excellent — very convenient and still quiet. Breakfast was served at Chala Number 6 (very close by) and it was outstanding: very complete, with plenty of options and great quality.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit small, but everything was clean and functional.

I recommend Chala 2. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a well priced stay at an art focussed boutique hotel.
Pros:

It was quiet. Close proximity to massage. I enjoyed the art work. I appreciated quality breakfast at sister hotel. Rachel was very sweet and made my stay really easy. Great staff. 🙏

Bonne localisation.

Manque de rangement+++ pour vêtements.
Lavabo qui coule.
Bruit du frigo, que nous avons débranché .
Oreillers trop durs, et épais.

Stay was Good, although I would not return to this hotel
Pros:

I really liked the quaintness of this hotel. Its small with only 4 rooms per floor. The hotel is very clean and kept clean.
Shoes are not permitted in the hotel, and they provide slippers. The hotel was quiet. I loved the lemon smell throughout the hotel. I have an intolerance to chemical air fresheners but this was some sort of essential oil when didn't affect my intolerance. The breakfast at Chala 6 was really good. Having unlimited bottled water was a real bonus. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Cons:

The bathroom is terrible and for that reason, I won't be returning to this hotel. The sink is so small and the mirror with the ledge above the sink is not good as when you bend over to use the sink, you bang your head when you straighen back up. The shower is very small and your skin sticks to the wet shower curtain because the shower is too small. The bathroom is also very dark. There isn't any towel racks or hooks so no where to hang wet towels. The room does not have a mirror, I used the mirror out in the hallway outside the room. Our main door didn't open easily, it took force for me to open and close the door. There was evidence of a water leak which made the flooring swell. The pool area in photos looks big but it is very small and there are only 2 day beds, one small and one large. If 2 people were at the pool, then there was no where else to sit. Stated that there were snacks all day, but when we were there ( and for 5 nights), it was never replenished. Only had over ripe bananas out. I asked for tea bags and everyday, they said tomorrow but tomorrow never came. On our last night there was a banging noise all day and night which sounded like a water pump to me. I followed the noise up and it came from an upper door and when I inquired at the front desk, it was a water tank. It was very noisy from our 4th floor room. The room is very bright. The head of the bed is underneath a large window and the curtain on it lets a lot of light into the room. There were some positives about this hotel, but I would not return due to all the drawbacks.
