Views, bad location, dirty, comfortable bed, unsafe.
Pros:

The sunset view from the roof. And the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

It didn’t feel safe. I was the only person in the entire building. They unlocked the downstairs padlock to let me in the building. But then there’s no way to lock it from the inside. So I had to lock my room every time I went to the bathroom, which is separate from the room.
There was trash under my bed, the sheets were stained, and the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in months. Mosquitos are everywhere, and disrupt sleeping. The bed needs a net or put screens on the windows if there’s that severe of a mosquito problem.

Decided not to stay.

The place was in the middle of nowhere. It was not an active place of stay. Looked to be a converted hotel. There was no front office/lobby. It did not feel safe with family coming in. So decided to find another place. Simply put this place is not a hotel ready for business.

Pros:

The place is a wedding hall and not a hotel. So the facilities are limited.

Cons:

Though the place just says 6.7 km from the temple it is very far in terms of the local transport. Especially for people who visit the town for girivalam, there is no way you will get a local transport to reach the location in the wee hours of the morning after walking for 16 odd kilometers. In the regular times, though they say share autos are available, they are rare. If you are visiting for girivalam, and if you do not have your own transport, it is better to avoid this place.
