Enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Zantamar is a beautiful resort although it's not complete. Some reviews mentioned the roads were bad around the resort, and they are not finished, but these roads are the same in small towns all over Mexico. The pools were fantastic and will be much better when all of the facilities are completed. We were right on the beach, had a great ocean view and we could walk into town either down the beach or on the road. The market at the marina on Sundays is fantastic as are many restaurants in town. Plus it was so quiet.

Cons:

Construction ongoing. Things like a finished, paved parking lot and roadway leading to the resort complete with lighting would make the experience much nicer and less dusty. Also, our room had a sewer smell coming from the bathrooms that is a problem of the building, apparently, and not just our room. We left the bathroom fans on 24/7 with doors closed and it did help.
