From the moment we arrived in Uderns, we knew this stay would be special — but this hotel and spa resort exceeded every expectation. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the Tyrolean Alps with panoramic views that feel almost unreal. The architecture blends modern alpine elegance with warm natural materials, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and inviting. Every detail, from the lobby scent to the lighting design, feels carefully curated.

Our room was immaculate — spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and waking up to mountain views from the balcony was simply magical. Housekeeping was flawless and discreet.
The spa area is on another level. Multiple saunas, perfectly heated pools, serene relaxation rooms, and a tranquil adults-only atmosphere make it a true sanctuary. The treatments were exceptional — professional, personalized, and deeply relaxing. It’s the kind of spa where time genuinely slows down.

Dining deserves special praise. The breakfast buffet was abundant and high quality, with fresh regional products and excellent coffee. Dinner was a gourmet experience each evening — refined presentation, creative dishes, and outstanding wine selection. The balance between Austrian tradition and modern cuisine was beautifully executed. What truly elevates this hotel, however, is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. Every request was handled with efficiency and kindness.

Perfect for a romantic escape, a wellness retreat, or simply to disconnect and recharge in pure luxury. We will absolutely return.

Cons:

While the experience is undeniably high-end, nearly everything comes at an additional cost — from certain spa treatments to premium dining options and drinks. Some guests might expect more inclusions in the base price.

Uderns is peaceful and beautiful, but very quiet. If you’re looking for nightlife, shopping, or a lively après-ski scene, you’ll need to drive to nearby towns. The resort is perfect for relaxation — less so for entertainment seekers.

Although the spa facilities are impressive, during peak times (especially late afternoon) certain areas can feel a bit crowded, making it harder to fully enjoy the tranquility that the space is designed for.
