Location and the concept of creating activities for children
I was disappointed with the level of service at the restaurant. The staff were often busy taking cigarette breaks instead of serving customers, which was particularly frustrating as most of the guests were staying at the hotel and the restaurant was not particularly busy with outside customers. There were long waiting times both for taking orders and for receiving the food.
Although breakfast was advertised as being served until 10:30, there was very little food left after 9:30, and the selection was not adequately replenished.
During my seven-day stay, I also found that the swimming pools were not kept sufficiently clean. I never saw staff taking water samples or carrying out visible checks of the pool water.
The bicycles available for use around the property were also an issue. There were no helmets provided, and many of the bikes were in poor condition. Similarly, the fishing rods were frequently broken or unavailable for most of the stay.
Finally, there was no staff presence or service available after 23:00, which was inconvenient for hotel guests and did not provide the level of service I would expect from the property.
Overall, the property has a beautiful location and a great concept. However, for a four-star property, I would expect a higher standard of service, better maintenance, and stronger safety measures, particularly for children. With these improvements, the prices charged would better reflect the overall value and experience offered.
