When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. The tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest.

Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

In accordance with the new provisions in force as of April 17, 2021 (DS No. 005-2021-MINCETUR)For the entry of minors accompanied by one or both parents, it is mandatory to carry the passport or identity card of the minor. It is also a requirement to present at the hotel, the birth certificate or birth certificate; as well as passport or identity card of the accompanying parent, as appropriate.

Superb accommodation
Pros:

The location. The privacy. The restaurant. The staff were great. I had a lovely trip to see the condors and some of the small towns in the canyon. Everything worked. Excellent service

Dreamy Stay in Colca Canyon
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a dreamy setting. Food was incredible, the spa was the best I’ve been to, all staff members super helpful and nice. A fee complimentary activities such as pisco sour lesson and feeding alpacas were great to have. The size of the room, the cleanliness and attention to detail top notch!

Nothing, love every second of it.

Pros:

Hotel meraviglioso, un'esperienza da fare assolutamente nel Colca Canyon. L'hotel offre anche molte attività complementari, come dare da mangiare ai cuccioli di lama e alpaca, esperienza bellissima.
Servizio eccellente, hanno tutti i comfort possibili, bellissima la SPA e la piscina con vista panoramica sul Canyon.
Colazione ottima, così come i servizi di ristorazione in generale.
Camera bellissima, con caminetto in camera e vasca di acqua calda in giardino.
Soggiorno indimenticabile.

Cons:

Tutto perfetto, uno dei migliori hotel in cui sia stato in vita mia. Peccato essere rimasti solo due giorni.

Overrated, don’t stay here
Pros:

The hotel is in the Colca Canyon Valley, it has a lot of outdoor space and lot of animals running around like horses and alpacas

Cons:

Too many things that I didn’t like at all and didn’t reflect the Belmond brand in general.
It was quite a disaster overall.
1. To serve lunch it took ages and the order was even wrong, despite me telling them I can’t eat any cheese they served a burger full of cheese.
2. The reception is not 24/7 and when I had an emergency I had to run to find someone in the property in early morning hours and still no one showed up.
3. My partner was sick and he needed oxygen but the property only gave him 5 minutes of oxygen without even calling a doctor. I had to find myself a doctor and she gave my partner more than 2 hours of oxygen.
4. I ordered a broth with some chicken and rice for altitude sickness and they even charged me for that even if I didn’t have any breakfast and my boy friend was extra sick.
