La Casa Del Mono

Unser Aufenthalt im Casa del Mono war definitiv eines der Highlights unserer Kolumbienreise.

Schon vor unserer Ankunft konnten wir über WhatsApp Kontakt aufnehmen, Details klären und ganz unkompliziert einen Abholservice vom Flughafen buchen.

Vor Ort wurden wir dann von Camila unglaublich herzlich begrüßt und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Dieses Gefühl hat uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts begleitet: Paula und das ganze Team sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Unser geräumiges Chalet war toll ausgestattet. Auch die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht, sogar Kaffeepulver, ein natürliches Filtersystem für Trinkwasser und eine Waschmaschine inklusive Waschpulvervorrat. Der Balkon mit dem großen Hängematten-Netz und die Hängematte innen waren unsere Lieblingsplätze. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt, sehr grün und üppig bewachsen. Vom Chalet aus blickt man fast ausschließlich ins Grüne und hört unzählige Vögel.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Bar oben auf dem Gelände. Die Pizza ist super lecker und John, der Barkeeper, ist total freundlich. Seine Signature Cocktails sind großartig, und ganz nebenbei hat er uns noch gute Tipps für Wanderungen und andere Aktivitäten rund um Minca gegeben.

Und dann die postkartenwürdigen Sonnenuntergänge! Von oben blickt man über das grüne Tal bis hinunter nach Santa Marta. Dieser Ausblick wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Sehr praktisch fanden wir außerdem, dass man sich Essen aus Restaurants in Minca ins Casa del Mono liefern lassen kann. Man kann es dann entweder im eigenen Chalet oder oben in der Bar essen. Und wenn man mal in den Ort möchte: Zu Fuß ist man in etwa 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Minca.

Wir haben jede Sekunde unserer vier Nächte genossen und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben.

Our stay at Casa del Mono in Minca was truly unforgettable! The cabin was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The bar terrace is absolutely magical, offering some of the most breathtaking sunsets we have ever seen.

But the real highlight of Casa del Mono is its wonderful staff. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. Camilla deserves a 20/10—she is truly exceptional and made our stay so special! John and his brother at the bar were fantastic, and the lovely ladies serving breakfast were always so kind and welcoming. Every interaction was filled with warmth and positive energy.

Casa del Mono is much more than just a beautiful place to stay—it is a place with heart, made unforgettable by the amazing people who work there. We left with wonderful memories and would return without hesitation!

La cálida bienvenida de todo el personal, unas cabañas preciosas en un entorno espectacular y un bar mirador con terrazas y espacios increíbles, atardeceres de ensueño y cocteles espectaculares. Un lugar mágico al que sin duda volveríamos.

Locatie was top. Natuur & mooie uitzichten.
Personeel was zeer behulpzaam, enthousiast en vriendelijk.
Eten & drinken was heerlijk.

Traumhafte Lage mitten im Grünen mit vielen Vögeln und toller Aussicht. Trotzdem nah an Minca und einfach erreichbar.
Tolle große Hütten mit viel Platz und eigener Terrasse.
Super Bar und frisches Frühstück mit toller Aussicht.
Das Beste: Das Personal!! Super nett und hilfreich, und sie verstehen dass ein Hotelaufenthalt erst durch das Personal zu etwas Besonderem wird. Erstklassig! Vielen Dank an Camila und Paula.

Ligging, uitzicht en ruimte.

Hartelijk ontvangen, heel mooie cabana waarin alles voorzien is. Midden in de jungle en toch vlakbij Minca. Heel hard genoten van de cocktails 's avonds aan de sunsetbar met een prachtige zonsondergang. Aanrader!

You stay here for the peace and quiet and the view. And the view really is amazing. We actually saw a toekan from our balcony, we were lucky!
It is reasonably quiet but not in the middle of nowhere. You have neighbors nearby who play really loud music.
The house itself it beautiful but one thing is really missing here and that is airconditioning. You can enjoy the house in the morning and evening but during the day it’s too hot. I love the warmth but even for me this was way too hot. 🥵 there are power outs every day and somehow they choose not to use there back up generator which also leaves you without a ventilator.
It’s nice that they have a washing machine.
Overall I felt it was way too expensive for what you get.

Friendly and informative staff, great bar with amazing sunset view, and very high quality facilities. The cabin was very spacious.

The bar was a particular highlight, with a bonfire every night.

Great walks in the local area and we especially liked the walk to Marinka

Perfect location for a stay in Minca. The host is super friendly and helpful. From the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with delicious drinks.

Comfortable house with great views, unbelievable patio/bar at top of the hill with some of the best views in Minca, friendly owner and lovely staff. Cannot recommend this place more highly!

The view is amazing especially at sunset and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating!

La vue incroyable, des couchers de soleil de rêve.
Léon et son équipe sont au petit soin, on ne se lasse pas des cocktails devant le coucher du soleil, les oiseaux et la vue ! Bonus feu de camp pour profiter de la soirée.
Salle de bain au top.
Carafe filtrante pour avoir de l'eau à volonté.
Super literie
Léon nous a même aidé à rapatrier des affaires oubliées

Incredible place! Very friendly service, communication was very easy through WhatsApp with Leon. Room had an incredible view and you can really hear the birds and the sounds of the forest! The viewpoint is really the best, with amazing drinks and bartender. Will come back!
