Private Room. Brisas. Zona Hotelera. Cancún

Place is full of mold! All my stuff smells like mold. Restroom smells so bad! This is the worst place I’ve been to, compared to the money I’ve spent!!!

The structure is far from everything, so to move is always necessary to take a bus or a taxi.
The room was probably a converted powder room.
There was always a smell of urine in the bathroom and therefore it was necessary to always leave the bathroom fan on 24 hours a day. Since both the room and the bathroom had no windows, it could not be ventilated and it smelled musty. The room was never cleaned in 4 days and the host give us only one towel for the shower each and only a shared one for hands/face. There was given a recycled bracelet to access the pool and beach. The structure doesn't meet the stsndards of Booking , so you need to be very careful when booking with private individuals and read very well the references.

The beach was a very thin strip of land as wide as the deckchairs.

This is not a REAL hotel. That explains the reason why its not on other websites like Expedia. Room has no windows or ventilation and hence it stinks. Stayed for 3 nights with family and they absolutely hated it. In fact this ruined our overall experience we had in Cancun. We will NEVER stay there again, even if it is given to us for free.

Booking advertising is totally misleading and this pool is not directly to the room, this is not a hotel, it's a condo and the room is very strong smelly.photos are in different condos and that need to get access in a different way.not feeling safe as room door not properly fixed. On the day we stay they do some construction and huge banging sounds come and are unable to sleep.

Terrible service and security

The bed was very hard. I had a hard time sleeping more than a couple hours at a time without waking up sore. It's the only real complaint I had about the property.

Nothing close by to eat without catching a bus or taxi. The room was super small and no windows. Too compact. Sheets were not clean and no comforters.

This really shouldn't be on booking.com. The whole area is without any windows, including the kitchen. The entrance is separated from the rest of the hotel, it feels like a back door for staff. The whole area is actually underneath a tennis court. You do get access to the main area with "the rest of the guests" but you have to go in through the main driveway, from the main street. The worst thing is the bathroom - it smells of urine all the time. We had to leave the ventilator on the whole time to make it bearebale. The whole time no one bothered to clean our room or to at least take out the trash. There was one more room in the building, I think it was used by the workers in the hotel - they had ana alarm every night at 6 AM and got back only at 10 PM. We were lucky to stay here only 3 nights, can't imagine to stay longer. Unlucky though to get mugged for 120 EUR per night for this stay.

There is a certain smell coming from the restroom. It was hard to ignored.

There were no windows in our apartment but there are two other apartments with sliding glass doors and kitchens that I will stay in next time.
