We had the private Island Room and it was better than we expected. We liked everything about the property, from the staff to the room, the facilities, the food, the view and every night they had live artists to play some music. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of our vacation. They also booked for us a private island tour which turned to be very fun. We want to thank especially miss Anna for being so kind, we had a problem with one of our activities in charge by a third party and she did everything she could to arrange everything for the best and also by guiding us.
Odprúčam tento hotel každému, kto si chce oddýchnuť v krásnom a tichom prostredí. Človek sa tu naozaj cíti ako kráľ. Žiadne zákazy, príkazy, obmedzenia. Personál úžasný, ústretový. Určite sa do tohto hotela vrátim!
Nebolo nič.
Absolutely excellent experience during my holiday, feel really relaxed here. It's worthy of all-inclusive package price. The food and signature cocktail are really great. The resort is near a small street , you could buy various stuff in the supermarket.
Nothing. I hope I could be here again in warm weather😄
Giannis Anna and Uncle George were very helpful and stood out for me in terms of high service
Nothing
The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to provide warm and welcoming service. Anna was excellent and we felt very welcomed the entire time. The bungalow was also very new, modern, and comfortable. Exceptional views of the sunrise and a nice patio area.
I want to emphasize that none of this is the fault of the staff—the team truly goes above and beyond to deliver a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, the resort itself falls closer to a 4-star standard.
The biggest issue is with dining. Food options are extremely limited, and reservations are required every night with very little availability. Only one restaurant operates at a time, alternating by day, and when we tried to book on a Wednesday the first open table was not until TUESDAY (5 days later!!). After returning from a full day of exploring at 9:00 pm, we found ourselves with no dinner options. By the time late-night room service began at 10:00 pm, the food we ordered—a salad and two wraps for €40—was disappointing, almost still frozen, and ultimately inedible. I went to bed hungry.
We also had challenges with the spa and activities. A service we tried to book through the app for 10:00 am was instead confirmed last-minute for 11:15 am, which didn’t fit our schedule. A cooking class we joined after a cancellation was underwhelming as well: the group was shown how to make an Armenian pizza (odd, given we were in Greece), but there were only four doughs provided for eight participants. The restaurant we finally experienced one evening also served Armenian cuisine; while the lamb was flavorful, the portion was skimpy—just one and a half baby potatoes on the plate.
Housekeeping was another area where consistency was lacking. The resort advertises twice-daily cleaning, but the schedule seemed random. We had a “do not disturb” sign up in the morning, which we expected meant skipping that service—but by the evening after we returned from another adventure, the room still hadn’t been refreshed and the remains of our previous night’s meal were still sitting inside.
Pricing also felt out of line with the value offered. For example, an Aperol Spritz at the pool cost €14.
Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Be sure to communicate clearly when making arrangements to avoid "lost in translation" issues. You will need a car or call a EUR30 taxi to go anywhere beyond the nearby little town. If you book your rental car through the hotel, the rental company will deliver it and there is free hotel parking.
The hotel seems design to accommodate many external day guests, but we didn't notice them (the huge number of pool loungers and tables/chairs were always mostly empty). The grounds are pleasant and the pools are spectacular.
We had a large "swim up" room which was lovely, the aircon worked perfectly (unusual for most hotels). The bed was comfortable and the double vanity and double shower appreciated. The view was lovely. The pools are huge.
The gym is reasonably equipped and large. We did not use the spa.
The breakfast selection is vast. You can get eggs made to your liking. Non-dairy milks are offered. The only fresh juice is orange juice. We had 2 buffet dinners, the service was excellent. The food was a bit hit and miss - the Italian night was great but the Asian night less so. The wines are reasonably priced and most can be had by the glass.
The full board option is good value, but it is also worth going to some of the other good restaurants in Zakynthos town for dinner.
Beware swimmers: all the pools are 1.4m deep, there is no deep end anywhere, which to me was very disappointing for a hotel that sells itself on its pools.
The breakfast area needs a blind or screen to shield guests sitting outside from the morning sun. Guests have to switch tables as the sun moves.
You need to book for the specialty restaurants in advance, we could not get a slot during out 6 night stay even as guests. The hotel did compensate us for this with some refunds, but it was disappointing.
Our room, 511, needs a screen on the right of the patio for privacy as other guests walk past there and can look onto the patio and into the room.
You do notice that costs were saved on hard finishes of the hotel interiors and exteriors and there are some messy walls, untiled concrete, cheaper finishes. There could be more planted areas (the few planter beds are very attractive) to alleviate the endless hard surfaces.
The plastic plants by the bar stairs up to the spa are an eyesore. Greece has amazing sunshine, the hotel should be brimming with indoor plants. No excuse!
Het is een oase van rust en alles klopt in het hotel.
Iets van snacks of ander eten aan het zwembad zou de enige toevoeging zijn. Maar het hotel is perfect en het beste hotel waar ik ben geweest.
There is plenty of space for everybody. The pools were very clean and a good cool temperature. The evening buffets were good, especially the Dessert buffet. The nearness to the local shops and harbour was a plus point.
each room had their own sun beds, which were very comfortable, but the space around the beds around the swimming pools made it difficult to stand up safely. For older people they are not particuarly easy to get up from.
The chambermaid did not always clean the room, and the turn down service did not happen every evening, even thought the green light was on.
Это было идеальный отдых! Я не могла придумать лучшего место где мы могли бы отметить годовщину нашей свадьбы 😍 персонал сделал все возможное, что бы это время для нас было не забываемым
Все было идеально!
Nuova, elegante, pulita, personale attento
Everything 🩷
Nothing
Lo stile, l’organizzazione, la vista e lo staff. Fantastica location per giorni di puro relax. Abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto la volontà da parte di tutti, ed in particolare di Angela, di farci sentire come a casa.
Nulla.
It was a wonderful holiday for us, with everything from the cleanliness to the services. We would like to thank all the staff, especially Anna. Very clean and in a great location.
