OK the location is great, right on Qarun lake. That part is true. Also it is a studio, and could have been pleasant. But...

Cons:

On the phone I had asked if there was definitely a microwave. He assured me there was. The owner had given charge of the place to a different man. He said everything was there.
Well. It was not a microwave. I'd brought stuff down from Cairo which would cook easily in a microwave. But it was not. It was this kind of grill thing with hobs on top. I asked about a pan then as I could not use my plastic ware in this apparatus, nor did I even really know how to use it. He said no pan. I said, then how can I cook? As I needed to cook, no breakfast there nor any other aparatus for making food. He did not bring anything for the kitchen and was extremely indifferent to the situation. The studio was quite isolated and I don't drive and there was only one towel given. Etcetc. Basically they had a studio for rent but did not care a hoot about equipping it. So we crossed the road and found an amazing hotel with apartments, they are wonderful people and I am still there.

I only like the location of the hotel

Cons:

I didn't like that the hotel was temporarily closed, and it was not mentioned on your website.
There were no staff at all in the hotel, and there was not even any kind of room service, and the room was not clean enough for the guests.
There was not any restaurant or even a caftetia in the hotel for the basic needs of any guest.

An amazing retreat or getaway from the noisy and polluted Cairo. What a gem of a hotel.
Pros:

The views to the beautiful lake, the cool breeze from the lake, the gardens, the swimming pool, the room was clean and very quiet for meditation and planning. A great location on the lake.

Cons:

Not liking per se, the hotel is under renovation, so it was exceptionally quite and on day one I felt a bit scared alone in a big hotel.
