Old town Beijing.
Pros:

I really liked the location. Near the drum tower and located in old Beijing. The street atmosphere was excellent. There was lots to do at night.

Cons:

I liked the night time atmosphere. The old world charm of the location and the excellent service. The only problem was that the room got flooded during the night. The flooding was bad.

Muy malos olores, sin ventilación, olor a tabaco, a alcantarilla. La habitación con moho, con goteras, ventana a una pared que ni entra la luz. Mucho olor a humedad y a alcantarilla.

Un beau séjour dans un quartier authentique.
Pros:

L’authenticité de l’hôtel situé dans le quartier traditionnel des hutongs.

Cons:

L’absence de fenêtres. La salle de bains rudimentaire et le fait qu’il se trouve à 15 minutes de la station de métro la plus proche. Par contre il y a un arrêt de bus à proximité.

Fantastic location!
Pros:

Excellent location, in hutong area and short walk to Drum Tower, Bell Tower, lots of places to eat and close to subway station.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They speak limited English but use a translator so it wasn't a problem.
Room was clean and had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable.
The free coffee in reception and bottled water in my room each day was appreciated.

Cons:

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. No complaints.

The property is not accessible by vans, hence we had to pull our suitcases from the main road to the hotel. Room small and stuffy

Pequeño hotel dentro de hutong, bien ubicado pero no muy cómodo.
Pros:

La ubicación. Cerca del metro y dentro de un hutong.

Cons:

El baño, la ducha está al lado del wc por lo que se moja todo cuando te duchas.
Precio muy elevado para lo que es el hotel.
No hay ascensor

Hotel inmerso en los houtongs de Beijing.
Pros:

Es un hotel ubicado en los houtongs del centro de Beijing y puede apreciarse la forma de vida y el ambiente sencillo de los habitantes en su vida diaria. Está ubicado a 800 metros da pie de la estacion del metro Shichahai con muy buena combinacion a los principales atractivos turisticos de Beijing.

Nos tocó una habitación interior que era una cueva, sin nada de luz. La única pequeña ventana interior que tenía daba a recepción y desde muy temprano el personal hablaba muy alto y no nos dejaban descansar. Pesima experiencia, esa habitación no debería de ofrecerse a clientes y menos al mismo precio que el resto

The hotel is in a very convenient location.
Shops, restaurants, culture, and activities nearby. Beautiful lake and busy nightlife, everything lights up at night.

The hotel stuff was really helpful and kind. They helped us book tickets for the Tainanmen Square, given us tips and ideas, and helped us sort out to get refund for the last night we've already booked and paid for as,we needed to shorten our trip by a day.

There are free bottles of water for all, free to use coffee machine in reception, also tea-coffee making facilities in the room. We've got complementary toothbrush and paste plus comb, also slippers. Hairdryer was in the room. There were a few hangers, too.

The bed smelled clean and fresh, towels were clean too, (apart from one),
The room was clean, and the hotel too.

All in all I would recommend this hotel, just make sure you'll book a room with a window..
The beds were rally comfortable.

Cons:

The room was cramped with a large double and single bed. There was only room left for a longish but narrow table alongside a wall with one chair by the wall.
The sink with a mirror above it was in the room, not in the bathroom.
The bathroom had the toilet and sower, but there was no partition for the shower, so even if you were careful, the whole bathroom got wet and everything in it.
It also smelled of smoking, even though there was a no-smoking sign in the room.
