I can not recommend this hotel, it was so noisy, the rooms was small, no storage for luggage only a small wardrobe for clothes. Smokers right below our room so being on the balcony wasn’t very pleasant. We had a street front room so we heard everything. Staff are ok but check in and out is slow. Bathroom is also small with limited storage and nothing drys
Good location. Close to the International Market and downtown Waikiki. Hotel parking very expensive (but I guess all Hotel parking is expensive in Waikiki!) We parked on the road in a free parking area close by. BUT BEWARE it's a Tow Away zone 8.30am-11.30am Mon - Fri and not good signage to tell you that! Weather was rubbish the 3 days we stayed so didn't get to try out the pool area. Was nice to get an upgrade to a King room.
Hotel car parking was very expensive. Breakfast was included which was a nice surprise but no real Gluten Free options for one of our party that is Gluten intolerant
I never got to stay, and never received my refund from booking.com for charging me for a room when the hotel was already booked
Never got to stay? The front desk was helpful advising us that booking.com was booking clients when there was no available rooms and charging for deposits and not getting our refunds back
The people who work at Romer House are professional, kind and helpful……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
The staff is so friendly! Clean and great location to the beach and international market. I would definitely stay here again!
It was my first time in Hawaii and I had an amazing experience. The Romer House located around many shopping / restaurants. Perfect walking distance to many places. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing. I love the vibe and the people here are absolutely amazing.
Great location. Great room. Great staff.
The Romer House is in a good central location, a 5-10 minute walk through the International Marketplace and across two streets to the beach. There are great restaurants all over the place within a short walk, and the ubiquitous ABC stores have drinks, snacks and souvenirs galore (albeit at inflated tourist prices). The Resort Fee and Valet fee (if you use it) are the same as other nearby hotels, adding another combined ~$110 per night.
Romer House pro's: Super friendly staff (both before and during my stay), 100% clean, reasonably quiet, properly stocked bathroom, comfortable bed and good quality pillows, a GREAT (very fast) valet service, two refillable water bottles in the fridge, plenty of outlets to charge your gear. My room had a partial view of the Ala Wai canal (but most rooms only have a view of other hotels).
Romer House con's: Poorly lit lobby and hallways (security issue), room key not required for the elevators (security issue), no table in room (inconvenience), room door didn't completely shut on its own (security issue), bathroom fan/heater doesn't shut off (inconvenience), poor shower design ensures flooding on bathroom floor (inconvenience), manual front doors (a minor inconvenience when arriving with luggage), pool is only 3 ft deep.
We weren’t sure what we were getting into because this is not one of the big brands and it’s a few blocks from the beach. We were pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be a perfect location, right across from the International Marketplace Mall. There are dozens of great restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
The staff was great. Very accommodating.
Rooms were nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.
Pool was different than most. Smaller lap pool. But we actually liked it, once we tried it. Great place to hang out after walking the strip.
We will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were at the hotel for 7 days and all 7 days we were greeted so warmly. House keeping was every other day which was plenty for us. We did need extra towels because we had a large group and they would bring them right up. At one point we needed extra blankets and they were on it! It's those little things we appreciated. At the end of our trip they arranged a taxi to the airport for us. In the lobby there's a water bottle I'll station and that saved our lives. We used it multiple times a day. We would stay again in a heart beat. One tiny thing to consider is it in the heart of Waikiki occasionally can be loud at night.
Sijainti hyvä
Aamupala oli hyvä ja monipuolisesti vaihtoehtoja
Henkilökunta ystävällistä
Suihkussa ei mitään roiskesuojaa joten vesi roiskui ja valui vessan lattialle
Honestly I liked it alot! Its literally near everything, the whole staff is so nice but special shoutout to Gerald and Ariel! They are the best! I appreciate how caring they were. The only downside is if you have a balcony facing the street it gets loud. Other than that it was a great stay. Food is pretty decent too! Bar is a vibe. Love the recycled water canisters and tea pot.
I really enjoyed my stay at Romer house. The location was perfect and it was very close to the beach and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Romer House is a vibe. Super chill hotel with modern amenities just a few steps to the international marketplace and a short walk to the beach.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, rooms are modern and clean, beds comfy, there’s a lot to like about this place.
