Amazingly helpful staff and great food served in the restaurant.
Pros:

This is a beautiful location with an amazing view of Lake Victoria set in a garden of trees and plants. It is primarily a restaurant with a few rooms and has great sauna facilities as well.

Pros:

The breakfast was amazing - very large and customizable. It was free with the stay, but we might even return just for breakfast without staying because it was such good value.
We liked our room. It was very large with a big bed. It had a private patio, which was nice. Bathroom was a bit dated, but shower was hot with good water pressure.

Cons:

The room we had originally booked (executive suite) was not available, so we were moved to a different room. I had thought we would get a discount for not getting the room originally booked, but they said that since we booked through Booking.com and not directly through them, it was not possible. The difference was only $5 so I didn't make a big deal of it.
The door to the room opened up right to the parking lot. This made it feel less private and a bit noisy. I wouldn't have minded if the door had a second lock given its proximity to the parking lot and the street.
