This was my favorite vacation and To Votsalo was perfect!!!
Pros:

To Votsalo is a top notch experience! The balcony view was amazing! There is nothing like cool breeze as you fall asleep at night and awaking to the sunrise. The only thing better than the view, is the family that owns and runs To Votsalo. They are the most kind and welcoming family you'll ever get to be part of. Im very grateful for my time here and for the delicious meals we had nearly every day at the Taverna. Keep up the great work! I'll see yall again very soon!

A little slice of paradise
Pros:

We spent 9 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds and a kitchenette with all you need to prepare simple meals if you choose not to eat at the property or the other local restaurants. We were in room 6 and the balcony was huge with a nice table and chairs and huge umbrella, plus a drying rack for beach items or hand washed clothes. We ate in the taverna almost every day and the food was wonderful and authentic. The family were wonderful hosts. There are sun beds available for rent at the beach in front of the property (€20 for two beds, a chair, a small table and large umbrella) which we thought was a good value. The sea is stunning and calm. Agios Nikoloas (Spoa) is a special place and we look forward to returning.

Cons:

The location is remote, which was a positive for us, but guests who want to stock up on bottled water or other food supplies will need to do so before arriving, as there are no shops nearby.

Lovely family run taverna
Pros:

Perfect location at a lovely bay. Good food. Friendly, happy service full of good humour by the family who runs it. One one occasion we arrived just before the kitchen shut as a group of 12 when the restaurant was packed. They created room for us and fed us very well.

Cons:

Water is scarce in bedroom showers.
The beach man, who is related to the family, was generally unpleasant, but on one occasion very rude to one of our party. It left a sour taste in our mouths. What a shame that is…

Amazing holiday and beautiful location.
Pros:

As described. Excellent location by the sea, very clean and responsive staff. To note the hotel is away from the capital if the island and there are no shops locally.

Exceptionally delightful and amazing.
Pros:

To Votsalo has GOT T’BE in the top 50 best all-round accommodations of all Greek islands; the room ‘n verandas are SO comfortable, so beautiful, and so spacious. Also, the lovely staff and restaurant only ads to the great experience.
My second time.

Pros:

Super beautiful hotel with a very nice location. Rooms have beautiful sea veiw, special thanks to Pavlos and his all family members, they are really doing a pro job. A hotel has a super restaurant in front of the sea and they always serve a fresh fish with delicious greek mezes etc

Very good
Pros:

The taverna was direckt for the beach and the food was super.Pavlos and his wife were really freindly so everything was ok.
The rooms were big and had what you need for a few days in a little fishing village with two beaches.....definately a good choice for a few quiet days

Cons:

Second floor rooms with normaly good view are super but on the balkony you have no private space as the walls between rooms is too short/low and you must sit in a little corner to be alone .
