THE ONLY THINGS WORTH IT WERE THE AMENITIES LIKE POOLS, WATER PARK AND BUFFET RESTAURANT

THE POOLS WERE PLENTY, THE BEACH WAS GREAT AND THE WATER PARK WAS QUITE FUN FOR THE LITTLE ONES.

Cons:

CHECK IN EXPERIENCE WAS LIKE A 2 STAR HOTEL. ILIA PALMS BUILDING LOOKS LIKE IT USED TO BE AN ABANDONED BUILDING FROM THE 60S OR 70S THAT WAS PATCHED UP ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET. THE ROOM FURNITURE AND BEDS ARE OF TERRIBLE QUALITY AND THE GENERAL AESTHETIC OF THE ROOMS GIVE A VERY CHEAP HOTEL VIBE. THE INITIAL EXPERIENCE WHEN WE ARRIVED WAS THAT WE WERE DECEIVED CONSIDERING THE COST TO STAY THERE.

Must stay if in Greece!
Pros:

The staff was extraordinary every single one! Very impressive. The hotel is nice. The buffet was awesome. Nice variety and tasty.

Cons:

Getting towels for pool/beach were located in one spot inconveniently situated. Bathrooms were not very clean and very stuffy. Also being asked to tip at check out is tacky.

Μια χαρά πέρασαν
Pros:

Έμειναν τα παιδιά μου. Επαναλαμβανόμενη φορά. Ισως σε αυτά τα δωμάτια θα έπρεπε να δωθεί πάλι το all inclusive όπως παλιά. Σαν αποζημίωση για την απόσταση που πρέπει να καλυφθεί. Σύμφωνα με τα λεγόμενα τους το πρωινό ηταν πολύ νόστιμο και με μεγάλη ποικιλία αλλά το απογευματινό γεύμα δεν είναι όπως παλια γευστικά και στην ποικιλία του.

Cons:

Αν και μας δήλωσαν ότι το μικρό παιδί μπορούσε να φάει δωρεάν ότι ήθελε στα πλαίσια της Ημιδιατροφης, όταν πήγε να επισκεφθεί την ταβέρνα τις μεσημεριανές ώρες το διώξανε . Ως αποτέλεσμα δεν πήγε πουθενά αλλού για μεσημεριανό όλες τις μέρες της διαμονής γιατί ντράπηκε .

Disappointing Stay: Poor Maintenance and Missed Expectations
Pros:

The external areas, water slides, all the swimming pools, the beach

Cons:

The hotel is poorly maintained and feels very old and outdated. The rooms are quite small, and there are no mosquito screens or any protection on the windows, which resulted in the room being full of mosquitoes.

Almost every corner of the room showed signs of damage, wear, or poor maintenance. The balcony was very dirty, and the curtains were hanging loose in several areas. They were also not the correct size for the windows, allowing too much light into the room. There was no proper ventilation or extractor fan in the bathroom, and there was a strong smell of humidity and dampness in both the bedroom and the bathroom.

The hotel also needs to understand that maintenance should extend to all external areas of the property, not only the main buildings and the areas most visible to guests. If you walk a little further away from the central facilities, the condition changes significantly. The staff accommodation buildings appear to be in a very poor and neglected state, and old hotel equipment and discarded items can be seen hidden among the forested areas. This creates a very negative impression and does not match the image or standards the hotel is trying to present.

The toilets in the waterslide area also need serious maintenance. They were reasonably clean, but the infrastructure and overall condition were very poor. Seeing basic facilities in such a state naturally raises concerns about the general level of maintenance across the property, including the waterslide facilities.

Finally, the breakfast hours should be extended or the service better organised. There were huge queues, making the breakfast experience unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient.

Considering the prices and the reputation and name of the hotel, I genuinely expected a much higher standard. The property has potential, but it clearly needs significant renovation, consistent maintenance across all areas, and much more attention to the overall guest experience.
