Inflexible management that has ensured I do not book again with chain

Another very enjoyable stay at the Grand Mercure
Pros:

This is our 4th visit to the GM and we like all aspects of it. Its in a great location for us, the room we had on this visit was excellent, the restaurant is excellent and we chose full board. We like the pool and spa and each had a massage.
The staff are so very friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

Pros:

Good hotel, nice rooms with possiblity to cook (stove , kettle , microwave and fridge) .
Had just what you need to be comfortable for business stay . Breakfast is good with several options including custom requests like eggs the way you want it.

The area is relatively a nice area . Some nice coffee shops in the area .
Gym is ok , I didn't try the 15 meter pool but it looked nice. There is also a nice gift shop at the lobby. The 2 restaurants serves good food also at night (near pool or at the Veranda) but it is mainly Indian/ Asian ... Some western options are there, mainly in veranda restaurant.
