The Castle by Don Louis

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was one of the highlights. so much variety, especially the delicious Sri Lankan food. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay.
They also kindly arranged a city tour for us and prepared a special dinner, which made our experience even more memorable. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent food and genuinely caring staff!

Ha sigut fins ara, unes de les millors experiències de Sri Lanka. No hem pogut tenir més sort en escollir aquest hostal. La propietaria ens ha rebut amb els braços ben oberts, i ens ha ofert sempre lo millor. Una habitació neta, llençols nets, una ubicació molt tranquil•la (amb necessitat de taxi per desplaçaments), i una luxosa piscina amb unes vistes a la muntanya espectaculars! El dia següent de la nostra estada haviem de marxar a Nuwara Eliya a les 4 del matí, i la dona de la casa ens va oferir una bossa amb l’esmorzar per endur, un autèntic detall.
Se’ns dubte hi tornariem unes quantes vegades més!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The mountain view from our room was beautiful, and the open balcony with the wooden chairs was such a peaceful and cozy spot to relax and read.
The room was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the food, the breakfast had a lovely variety, and dinner was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience. A beautiful place to unwind, enjoy the views, and spend quality time. We would definitely love to visit again! ❤️

Emplacement au calme, sans être trop loin du centre ville.

Lovely views and great breakfast in this ‘castle’ up on the hill. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the views, watching the birds and the monkeys walk along the powerlines in front of our room. Three of us stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The view from the restaurant was even better. Didn’t use the pool, but appreciated the free trip down to the shops with one of the staff and it’s close proximity to Kandy city but the quiet up there (we were in town for the Esala Perahera).

Exceptionnel! Vue magnifique, endroit calme.
La salle de jeu est un vrai plus lorsqu'il pleut et que nous ne pouvons pas profiter de la piscine.
Personnel tres gentil et arrangeant pour nous déposer au centre ville de Kandy.
De plus, la nourriture du restaurant est très bonne et à.des prix raisonnables.

calm and quiet place, perfect for a solo traveler

As parents of twins, we had a wonderful stay! The room was huge, clean, and perfect for our family. The staff were exceptional so kind, understanding, and always ready to help. They thoughtfully provided two cots for our little ones, which made our stay much more comfortable.
A special thank you to the kitchen team for preparing delicious French toast and banana pancakes for our kids. They absolutely loved them!
The play area was fantastic, and our twins had so much fun in the baby pool. It was the perfect family-friendly getaway. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. We highly recommend this hotel to families with young children and look forward to visiting again!

Rustige omgeving maar wel dicht bij centrum. Unieke architectuur qua huis. Gastvrouw zorht voor heerlijke SriLankaanse maaltijd. Uitgebreid ontbijt.

Nous avons fait un séjour de 5 nuits au Castle. Nous avons bien aimé la grandeur de l’appartement que nous avions. La vue sur les montagnes est vraiment super. Le déjeuner est délicieux et varié. En tuktuk, il est facile de rejoindre la ville de Kandy en 15 minutes pour un prix qui varie entre 300 LKR et 600 LKR selon votre destination. Il y a différents endroits où s’installer pour relaxer (terrasse, sofa).
