Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor de Snaefellsness
Pros:

Prachtige accomodatie met een heerlijke hottub en sauna. Bij aankomst was de hottub al warm en konden we er direct in! De huiskamer is een heerlijke plek om te zitten. De inrichting is erg authentiek, gezellig en rustgevend! Alhoewel we de gastvrouw niet gezien hebben, hebben we wel telefonisch contact gehad en was ze zeer behulpzaam! De kamers zijn erg ruim en luxe, waarbij gedacht is aan veel details. Het is een geweldige uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de Snaefellsnes.

Cons:

Aangezien er weinig eetgelegenheid is in de omgeving, zou het handig geweest zijn als er kook mogelijkheden waren. Er is wel een magnetron aanwezig om eventueel iets op te warmen. Helaas wisten wij dit niet, echter heeft de gastvrouw ons geholpen om toch een leuke eetplek te vinden.

Pros:

Truly stunning properly. The sauna and hot tub are amazing, beautiful views. Wonderful staff.

Cons:

One small thing would be if the outside lights could be turned off at night so that you could see the sky from your bedroom it would be brilliant.

Ein kleines Paradies. Ich hoffe, beim nächsten Mal dort wieder ein Zimmer zu bekommen.
Pros:

Wunderschönes Haus, urig und doch modern, mit grandioser Aussicht auf die isländische Landschaft. Supernette Gastgeber und obendrauf noch 140 Islandpferde!

Ich hatte überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln

Pros:

L emplacement, la magnifique vue, la décoration très chaleureuse, l accueil charmant et le fabuleux petit déjeuner avec du pain frais maison islandais.

Cons:

Rien, si ce n est que ce n est pas tout a fait un hotel, pas une guest house, ...c est particulier Mais sympa!

Pros:

Parties communes agréables, grands canapés, jolie décoration (c’est si rare en Islande).

Cons:

Accueil impersonnel : nous sommes arrivés à l’heure dite mais personne pour nous accueillir : juste une enveloppe à notre nom avec la clé de la chambre. Pour le petit déjeuner lendemain, il fallait complus formulaire : un peu limite et regrettable car c’est toujours agréable d’avoir un contact à qui demander un conseil ou une adresse pour aller dîner…

Pros:

Convenient location on the Snaesfellnes Peninsula. However, there are very few restaurant/food options nearby. We didn't see anyone on checkin though a note with the keys to our room were left for us. The rooms themselves were very nice and clean and it was wonderful to look out the window to see the beautiful scenery.

Cons:

Having meals onsite would have been nice given the remote location.

Calme et confort de la chambre..

Cons:

Petit déjeuner trop cher et il manquait parfois certains aliments. L'annonce indiquait pour la chambre une terrasse et vue mer et montagne. Pas vraiment le cas pour notre chambre qui ne bénéficiait pas d'un accès direct à une terrasse, vue très limitée si ce n'est sur le bâtiment voisin. Comme proposé nous avons envoyé un mail pour une demande de sortie équestre, aucune réponse.
Conclusion : prix excessif et aucun contact avec le propriétaire.

Memorable guesthouse with views
Pros:

Everything! So cute. The common area had an eclectic mix of furniture. The owner was out on a horse tour and we helped ourselves to our rooms. We later saw the tour coming back and had an opportunity to meet the horses and take selfies. The owner also left some wine out for us on the counter for our after dinner drinks. We enjoyed the sauna and spa and had the place to ourselves that night. The each room had beautiful views. Perfect location either way access to some dining at Arnastapi.

Cons:

There was no sign for the guesthouse so we weren’t sure if we were at the right place. Breakfast was optional and pricey. And this was the most expensive place we stayed on our 10 day tour but also very memorable.
