Pros:

A charming, authentically Chinese hotel with a traditional Chinese breakfast. The atmosphere feels genuine, and all staff members are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Their warmth and attentiveness make the stay truly memorable. A very pleasant experience overall.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, good location with nice terrace.
Pros:

The staff who worked here were incredible... exceptionally welcoming, very friendly, more than happy to help - offered to order us taxis and food delivery, carried our luggage, room was cleaned daily and they offered individual prepared breakfast/afternoon tea.
The afternoon tea of fruit, nuts and cake was lovely whilst sat on the terrace after a day out exploring.

The bed was comfortable, the hotel itself was lovely (had very boho/bali vibes), the balcony was a lovely area, especially with the stunning trees.

Location was also great, just off Luogu lane and close to subway which was really easy for reaching the Forbidden City area.

Cons:

Would be good to have a fridge in the room for milk and water.
Whilst the hotel was lovely with courtyard layout and plants, it was a little tired in parts e.g. the room could do with a lick of paint. The room looked like the pictures, but just was a bit more tired than the pictures showed so wasn't quite as we expected. We didn't stay anywhere else in China so it's hard to really compare, but having come from a couple of weeks in Japan paying a similar price per night it just didn't feel like the same value for money.

Pros:

I like everything, the location is excellent there are all kind of shops to buy traditional souvenirs and you will always find something to eat! Close to the Hotel there’s the best Beijing noodles I have ever had, they even have Michelin plates in the local since a couple of years, great recommendation from the staff.
On the culinary side, please have breakfast at the hotel, the lovely chief of the kitchen cook 👩‍🍳 amazing “Baos” and dumpling soup, everything fresh cooked since the early morning!!!! Please enjoy!!!!

Отличное место для проживание в Пекине.
1. Дружелюбный сервис, гостеприимство и забота. Милые, красивые девушки в национальных костюмах, встречали, провожали, заботились о нас и помогали во время пребывания.
2. Локация. Очень удобное расположение рядом с торговой пешеходной улицей и недалеко от набережной с кафе и ресторанами.
3. Атмосфера. Очень красивый внутренний двор с уютными переходами декорирован кадками с растениями, вазами, клетками с попугаями, водоемом с рыбками. На крыше удобная зона отдыха с видом на хутуны.
Спасибо персоналу отеля за внимательное отношение , хочется вернуться к вам снова!

Extraordinary stay in Beijing!
Pros:

The hotel was really beautiful with an extraordinarily nice roof terrace. The room was beautiful with a private calm balcony. The staff were beyond great and such sweethearts. We truly felt welcomed and at home. They helped us with all our enquiries rapidly. Made us afternoon tea, snacks, and even borrowed us portable charger during one of our daytrips! I will absolutely recommend this place. A true gem of Beijing!
