Right in the middle of EVERYTHING! Once car was parked, in the assigned area, never had to go back to it. The short short walk to the beach and all entertainment was very enjoyable and NICE. WAS NOT A FORMAL FEEL OF AN HIGH EXPENSIVE LIFT YOUR PINCKY KINDA HOTEL BUT IF REALLY NICE. GAVE ME THE FEELING THAT I WAS AT THE BEACH TO HAVE A GREAT TIME, WHICH WE DID.

Cons:

No clock in the room, that's it....lol

Great stay with some minor obstacles
Pros:

Location close to bars and Beach. Room was very comfortable.

Cons:

No Ice machine in the building. Balcony right in front of a Gas Station. Low Water pressure in the shower.

Booking procedure is a nightmare.

Nice hotel convenient to everything in the center of Folly Beach.
Pros:

Location is within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. There is a designated parking spot for the room in a nearby lot. Bed was comfortable. Outdoor wicker couch on the balcony is nice. I appreciated the fan on the balcony to keep bugs away. There is an elevator to get to your room. The room was quiet. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Room was not fancy, but it had everything we needed.

Cons:

The pet fee is $110 per dog for 1 night. This was not stated anywhere on the booking site.

Great Location for restaurants and Folly Beach
Pros:

Great location within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Nice balcony to relax on. Folly Beach is a nice beach with a pier and good surf for water sports.

Cons:

Parking was off property, however, it was free.

Clean room for a couple days
Pros:

The room is very spacious and was very clean. Shower was new and very clean.
Elevator is available and very nice.
Restaurant/bar on adjacent building and gas station next to it makes it easy to access food if needed.

Cons:

No reception or anyone on site.
No AC on hallways so they are stuffy.
Lots of emails and extra agreements you need to sign before check in if you book through Booking.com.
They use stripped sheets and colored bath towels/rugs and some were bleached with Clorox.
They do not offer beach towels or chairs.
Parking is at another location so its a always a hassle to walk to car to load and unload.
Beach is a few blocks on the other side of the island. Be prepared to walk!

a 10 minute walk to Folly Beach!

Cons:

A Crew was working on hotel electrical issue and set off a piercingly loud & shrilling fire alarm around 9:00 am…
that persisted untill the Folly Beach Fire Professionals came to disarm it. The noise was excruciatingly painful, we had to run outside of the building to escape the blaring drill.
It was a bit unnerving because there is no staff on site to address it and the crew did not speak English very well.

We will definitely return and stay for more than one night!
Pros:

We loved the location and walkability to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved the modern decor and the art on the walls. We loved the comfortable bed and pillows. We greatly appreciated the early check in. We are excited about the new cafe coming soon.

Cons:

The only bummer is the $100 refundable room deposit that we had to call in and pay for before our stay.
