I had a great stay at B&G Valencia Hotel Downtown. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well located — just a short walk from the old town and many nice restaurants and shops.
My room was comfortable and quiet, with a cozy bed and a stylish design. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy.

In general the hotel is not bad, but 4 stars are not matching what you will get. I am solo traveller, who is ok with my tiny room, but the problem is that picture is not matching reality. Ok for short staying to explore Cairo, location is very good. And many places to eat around.
They are scammers, open Google reviews to read about this hotel.
Just put a true description. It is 2 star hotel, reduce a little bit price. Stop scamming people and you will have good reviews. As I said hotel is not so bad but be prepared that rooms are not looking as shown here. They will ask to cancel your booking, don't do it as you will not be able to write a review

Nothing though it had a fancy sign outside
Gives the wrong name on booking.com making it very difficult to find. Ignored my email asking for its address but sent one very quickly offering the grossly overpriced ride from the airport , arriving at 2:00 a.m. I was confronted by a clerk who wanted to spend ages filling in forms. He said my room was upgraded I don't know if that was true but I hate to think what the even lower grade rooms were like. At $30 a night was very expensive for what it was, day clerk was plain rude to my guide and me
Was in good location easy access to downtown. Reasonably modern decor on this stay.
Breakfast was not buffet as described and no options for dietary restrictions or ability to pick food that suited an upset stomach. Rooms also not soundproofed as described. Name of Hotel did not match with booking so could not find hotel initially until we linked that it was the same hotel as previous stay with different address. Address on booking.com different to real address , not on Tahrir Sq. Hotel is listed under 3 names Lencia Hotel, Valencia Hotel and B&G Vincia Hotel. We had booked the Lencia hotel 4 days prior and were not aware we were booking the same hotel again.
Is was full so they give us a room down, a lot of noise and they didn’t find any other alternative

The staff tried to get me to cancel the bookig.com reservation in turn for a better room. When I didn't comply, they gave me the originally booked room, but it didn't look anything like the photos from the booking.com website. The bed as not comfy, the room was very worn out, and the towels were old, worn out and a disgusting grey colour. The doorframe between the bathroom and bedroom was mouldy and disintegrating. The shower was a wet-bathroom concept (unlike the photos) so water went everywhere, but there wasn't even a second towel to dry the bathroom after showering. I asked the staff for a second towel, but it was never delivered. Wifi was so slow it was basically unusable. The phone didn't work either. Breakfast was very mediocre, you can get a better breakfast for 1-2 USD in a restaurant somewhere. This place would've been acceptable for 10 USD a night, not 60.
