Résidence du Lys - Perrin Apartments

The reason I wouldn’t give it a full 4 or 5 stars is mainly due to a few inconveniences. The apartment became extremely hot during my stay. I knew there was no air conditioning, but I expected the fan to be enough. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, and the room was uncomfortably warm. An air conditioner would make a huge difference, especially during the summer.

The bed was also quite small for two people, making it a bit cramped to sleep comfortably.

Another downside was the parking. I arrived in the evening and only could park for a few hours, but I still had to pay €25 for the private parking space, which felt quite expensive. It would have been nice if the staff had suggested a cheaper public parking option nearby instead of directing me to the private parking, especially since they know the area well. I also asked if it would be possible to extend my parking time a little longer, but unfortunately there was no flexibility, and my request was declined without offering any alternative.

The only con was that there was no air con - although there were two Dyson fans, which did help but with temperatures in the 30s and overnight temps around 20C, it was quite stuffy. The windows didn't open very far

Klimatyzacja prawie nie dzialala. Na korytarzu bylo chlodno, w pokoju okolo 25 stpni C. Najgorsze byly noce w tak zwanej sypialni, ktora byla szczelna, mala klatka. Trudno bylo oddychac. Musialam zadowolic sie spaniem na malej waskiej kanapie w tzw livingroomie. Koszmar! Mam nadzieje, ze kolejny turysta zastanowi zanim zdecyduje sie na apartament. Utrudniony kontakt z wlascicielem. To nie hotel gdzie mozesz rozmawiac z recepcjonista

There was no AC in the entire apartment, nor windows in the bedroom. As the temperature outside was 35 digress, it was very hot in the apartment. I would strongly recommend putting an AC. Very frustrating for me was the fact that nobody could enter the apartment (not for sleeping, but just to see me) besides me. I bought dinner to eat it with my friend from Luxembourg and asked for permission, even I offered extra payment, but I was told the policy does not allow it. When booking the apartment I didn't see this restrictions and this ruined my stay :(

We were staying during a heatwave. The room has no AC or ventilation, the hosts provided an additional fan to mitigate somehow the unbearable heat in the room.

Het was erg warm tijdens ons verblijf (hittegolf) en het werd daardoor ook heel warm op de kamer. Er is wel een ventilator aanwezig, maar die was niet erg krachtig dus we hadden het warm in de nacht.

De gang was gekoeld maar de kamers zelf hebben geen airco. Dit is een gemiste kans. Het was er bijzonder warm!

I was disappointed that there was no AC, and the fans provided were not sufficient to cope with the heat. The room was also quite small and felt poorly ventilated. In addition, the Dyson fan was missing its remote control, which made it less convenient to use. The sofa was also quite small and not particularly comfortable.

Bed was small compared with all other accommodation we have booked ..... apartment only had a floor fan which didnt emit much cool air and apartment would've benefited from an air conditioning unit especially in current heatwave
